Gästhaus Krenn is a gem! The location is so beautiful and charming. We felt welcomed from the start and got a complimentary upgrade to their apartment number 3 in the Residence. The apartment had the most amazing views of any accommodation we stayed in. Great views overlooking the region, mountains and the castle. We ate at the restaurant and wanted to go back again but it was fully booked. The breakfast was delivered to us and it had variety of local bread, cheese, jams etc. The staff kindness and friendliness are unmatched. We really loved our time there and we wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Everything about Hotel Refugium was exceptional, from the moment I arrived tired from long travels and was immediately offered a cold drink. The room was spacious and well laid out. everything is exactly what you’d expect and then some more. the space is deeply creative. I even thought the owners should probably be creatives in an advertising company. it turns out they are just very very creative on their own. 🙂 all details are thoughtful and make sense together and you can feel the love for beauty and fun and creativity in it all. exquisite premises, great views. great comfort. very very good cuisine. and super cool rooftop restaurant! (with an amazing dj!) and, above all, extremely nice stuff. you feel genuinely welcome. we loved it so much that on our last night there we immediately booked a follow up stay for the winter. I guess that says it all. thank you, amazing coolnest team! we look forward to visiting you again!
