Perfect stay down to the last detail - great hosts, amazing and coziest place I've ever stayed in, especially delicious food, including both breakfast and steaks for dinner, prepared by the host. A place you really want to come back to.

Excellent services and strong attention to all desires of the guests. Very beautiful and cosy appartments and the whole house. High quality of materials, furniture etc. used in the rooms. Very spacious rooms. Exellent breakfast with very special concept (no ordinary buffet selection). High quality of food and drinks served at breakfast and also in the near Krenn restaurant. We did appreciated much a room service for the first warm drink served after wake-up and still before the breakfast - great idea!!! The house offers also a room service.

What an exceptionally beautiful, lovingly cared for and family-owned castle! We enjoyed our 2 days here very much, with lots of nice light hiking trails in the area during the day and delicious private wine tasting in the evening. Thanks a lot to the Almasy family for their hospitality.

We really enjoyed our stay. The host was exceptional. The breakfast and dinners at the house were great. The reservation system for private enjoyment of the spa and shuttle service to and from the mountain was nice.

One of the best hotel I’ve ever been. I definitely recommend it to my friends&family to come here once in their life. The view is charming and everything was really cozy&comfortable. I would highlight the food experience as well. Not to mention the kind and friendly staff, who didn't even forget about my birthday :)

Everything about Hotel Refugium was exceptional, from the moment I arrived tired from long travels and was immediately offered a cold drink. The room was spacious and well laid out. The view from the balcony over the river and the mountains was very relaxing. Breakfast was great with fresh squeezed orange juice and local foods. This is probably the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at.

Flexible, super friendly, welcoming staff - we arrived very late during the night but the check in was still possible. Because of this, we also slept in and missed the breakfast but they were so kind to prepare it again only for us. They also have a gluten free bread which was a real game changer for me ! Thank you, hope we're coming back soon

I stayed here several times. lovely place

It is quite frankly one of the best hotels we have stayed at. So much thought is put into the small details- from the afternoon snack, to the spa facilities, the daily newsletter with things to do, the complementary yoga and pilates sessions, and really all other small things that make you feel extra specials. We cannot recommend it more- a real gem!

Cosy place run by friendly hosts, close to high quality ski resorts. The room was simple, but clean and comfortable with great value for money.
