Guest reviewExcellent services and strong attention to all desires of the guests. Very beautiful and cosy appartments and the whole house. High quality of materials, furniture etc. used in the rooms. Very spacious rooms. Exellent breakfast with very special concept (no ordinary buffet selection). High quality of food and drinks served at breakfast and also in the near Krenn restaurant. We did appreciated much a room service for the first warm drink served after wake-up and still before the breakfast - great idea!!! The house offers also a room service.

Guest reviewWhat an exceptionally beautiful, lovingly cared for and family-owned castle! We enjoyed our 2 days here very much, with lots of nice light hiking trails in the area during the day and delicious private wine tasting in the evening. Thanks a lot to the Almasy family for their hospitality.

Guest reviewEverything about Hotel Refugium was exceptional, from the moment I arrived tired from long travels and was immediately offered a cold drink. The room was spacious and well laid out. The view from the balcony over the river and the mountains was very relaxing. Breakfast was great with fresh squeezed orange juice and local foods. This is probably the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at.
