I am Burundian but live abroad now, I know the country and that location, Urban Lodge is one of the best, if you see a room available, trust me don't think twice, just book and read the rest of the comment later. Urban Lodge is a feel at home place, the staff are both professional and friendly and the manager is super cool and available. I lived in that neighbourhood 7 years ago, I can guarantee that it's the best location in Bujumbura, you can reach any place from there. The Manager is a very friendly person and very available, the staff are very friendly and really do their job so perfectly.

Enclosed space with beautiful garden, clean and quiet, makes you forget the hassle and bassle outside. No pressure to pay on arrival, paid at end, staff always very helpful

In the centre city. Convenience to walk around for eye shopping. The place is quiet. The staff are lovely and available to help. They prepare your breakfast at your convenience. Lovely food. No need to buy food outside the Hotel.

The 4 poster beds looked fabulous. The staff were super helpful when it came to carrying my suitcases. They were very friendly. I really appreciated the aircon to.

This hotel FAR exceeded my expectations. The staff are SO helpful, friendly and professional. Their staff are outstanding. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained and I found the food to be exceptional. We stayed for two weeks. A special mention to Richard who runs the restaurant - this guy is VERY good at his job, showing attention to detail with an exemplary customer service approach. My son also had a minor illness and the hotel doctor was brilliant. I travel a lot with my son, and usually we're ready to leave at the end of the trip, but in this instance we could have stayed another month! I can highly recommend this hotel.

the proximity to access everywhere..its clean and maintained well.good security..the staff are friendly and very helpful..especially Mr Eraste came in very handy in everything i recommend him alot..when you visit there, look for him. there were other helpful staff can't rem their names...the food was good too and I liked everything that I extended my stay

I had a great stay at Kangaroo Hotel. The bed was very comfortable with a big mosquito net, the WiFi was good, and buffet breakfast was nice and big, and I had lots of hot water for showers. Nicky at reception spoke very good English and was really helpful. The location is just a two minute walk from the main market, which is fun to visit. There are lots of taxis nearby to take you around Bujumbura. Highly recommend!
