This is one of the nicest hostels we've stayed in. Here are some of the reasons why: - the staff are incredible and so helpful. They helped us with altitude sickness advice, getting a shower mat for our shower, getting travel advice and hailing a taxi and overall being friendly, welcoming and always available. - the kitchen is huge, clean, well equipped and really useful for prepping meals. - the private room was huge. the bed was comfortable and there was hot water in the shower. - the location is slightly away from the touristic area - we loved Sopocachi and there are great restaurants around. - they have the CUTEST little dog called Max who we fell in love with.

Lovely modern hotel in the south of La Paz. Just off a busy road but quiet. Lovely pool and hot tub! They were kind enough to pack us breakfast boxes since we were leaving earlier than breakfast started. Would definitely recommend.

Every inch of El Pueblito's premises reflects meticulous care and remarkable craftsmanship, creating an atmosphere that is truly awe-inspiring. Prior to our visit, we had concerns about the WiFi speed, which is crucial for our work as teachers who rely on daily online classes with cameras. However, we were pleasantly surprised as everything worked flawlessly. The WiFi signal was strong enough in our room, and it was even better in the summer house (gazebo) located in the center of the square. This spot quickly became my favorite place to work, offering both power outlets and shade. Therefore, I would like to assure any fellow business travelers that the internet connection at El Pueblito is reliable 24/7. Moreover, the shower facilities were excellent, providing us with wonderfully hot water. Despite visiting in late autumn, the rooms and reception area were kept comfortably warm with the help of heaters and an abundance of cozy blankets. Notably, the nearby winery is a charming destination that should not be missed. We highly recommend booking a tour, especially considering its convenient proximity to El Pueblito. Our fond memories are incomplete without mentioning Patricia, the charming ginger cat, and the friendly dogs who added an extra layer of warmth and joy to our stay. In summary, El Pueblito has exceeded all our expectations, offering an unforgettable experience that deserves the highest praise.

Super good value for money in incredible location and very friendly staff

Well located, clean, modern, very nice staff. They were very accomodating of requests as well.

The location was stunning. Waking up with the door open, seeing the water - is just fantastic. The stars were super visible - I saw the milky way with very little effort. The bed was very comfortable, I wasnt cold at night. The staff were great, though sometimes hard to find them. Was able to talk via whatsapp though only in spanish. There is signal there, though less in the room. Breakfast was great - eggs with cheese, rice (I asked for rice instead of bread), some vegetables. As there isnt really any restaurant on the island, I had lunch and dinner at the hostel. It was 35 pesos each, and was pretty basic but tasted good. I'd say the rice wasnt as good, but the potatos and eggs were great. No fish or meat unfortunately.

Great location across from the cable car that takes you to the city centre. Room was large and comfortable and the breakfast area has the most spectacular view!

Recently fully refurbished, the high standards and professionalism of the staff were only matched by their friendliness and helpfulness. Superb location, restaurants nearby. We stayed 14 nights, a fantastic 5 star experience in the middle of Santa Cruz.

Great owners and hosts. We stayed a room with a windows that opened which was helpful for a breeze. There is no air Conditioner or fans so the open window was fantastic for the breeze, birds chirping. It was a wonderful stay and would suggest it to anyone. The breakfast is homemade, delicious and expansive.

Very nice clean, spacious rooms with good shower and warm water. Nice selection for breakfast and restaurant in house very good. The pool is amazing and just what you want to have on days where everything else is closed (christmas). What made our stay was Stephanie who waited on us hand and foot always warm and calm even she was working day and night. Thank you Atix and Stephanie!
