Such a great location in the heart of Sopocachi and amazing, friendly, helpful staff! The cutest tiny yorkshire who guards the hostel Tip: try Café Typica next door for a cool hipster experience and Sabor es Bolivia for an authentic one:)

Breakfast was lovely. All cooked items had been freshly made. I’ve never had such great French Toast. Fruit was ripe, lots of choices for breakfast and very good coffee.

Very beautiful house. Nice garden, traditional house. Owner can speak very good English and give advice about the tour. He will draw you the map of the cable and the attractions.

Every inch of El Pueblito's premises reflects meticulous care and remarkable craftsmanship, creating an atmosphere that is truly awe-inspiring. Prior to our visit, we had concerns about the WiFi speed, which is crucial for our work as teachers who rely on daily online classes with cameras. However, we were pleasantly surprised as everything worked flawlessly. The WiFi signal was strong enough in our room, and it was even better in the summer house (gazebo) located in the center of the square. This spot quickly became my favorite place to work, offering both power outlets and shade. Therefore, I would like to assure any fellow business travelers that the internet connection at El Pueblito is reliable 24/7. Moreover, the shower facilities were excellent, providing us with wonderfully hot water. Despite visiting in late autumn, the rooms and reception area were kept comfortably warm with the help of heaters and an abundance of cozy blankets. Notably, the nearby winery is a charming destination that should not be missed. We highly recommend booking a tour, especially considering its convenient proximity to El Pueblito. Our fond memories are incomplete without mentioning Patricia, the charming ginger cat, and the friendly dogs who added an extra layer of warmth and joy to our stay. In summary, El Pueblito has exceeded all our expectations, offering an unforgettable experience that deserves the highest praise.

Super good value for money in incredible location and very friendly staff

Room was very comfortable and clean. It was our honeymoon and so they prepare a little surprise in the room for us, which was very nice.

I stayed here with my sister. The place is beautiful, perched above the village of Challapampa overlooking the lake. We spent the whole day sitting on our balcony in the sun, just relaxing. The addition of a kettle and tea in the room was much appreciated. Despite us not speaking much spanish, we communicated with the owners via WhatsApp and they were so helpful and provided recommendations. Breakfast is delivered to your room. There's a beach you can reach and we went swimming even though it was cold. Would highly recommend for a relaxing night on Isla del Sol. Having stayed another night in the south, we much preferred the north!

Francisco and Maria are incredibly kind and the food they prepared was very nice! The location of the hostel gives an amazing overview of the lake and the temple. It was all very calm and Francisco knows a lot about the history of the temple and the culture. Furthermore, the houses of the hostel are made by Francisco himself, very beautiful! Would surely visit again.

Huge room with very comfortable bed, bathroom with toiletries, bathrobe, nice fluffy towels. Lots of storage space. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Food was good at the restaurant.

The breakfast was amazing. Thank you to Angel and his colleagues. We had a great stay and really liked the area, the staff and rooms were tidy.
