We liked everything about this hotel, especially the staff. The managers take an individual approach to each guest and do their best to guide and make your Chongqing trip much easier. I'm sure that my opinion is objective and independent because I've been to various countries that are famous for their customer service, but Wuyu Hotel in Chongqing would definitely be my number one. The facilities are well-equipped, clean, and the service is good, with staff helping with luggage. Booking a ride online is very convenient, with direct pickup at the hotel entrance. The breakfast is quite rich, and it is very close to the East Gate. You can walk through Jinbian Stream, which has beautiful scenery and very clear water, suitable for wading and playing, although it is a bit cold now, so be careful of catching a cold. After hiking, the foot massage downstairs is very convenient for relaxing your feet.

What a good find. This boutique guesthouse at hegu haven checks most boxes: spotlessly clean rooms with comfy bedding, a serene garden for morning tea, and a restaurant with delicious local dishes. A small suggestion: adding more Western options would suit international guests better. The healing activities (listed in English!) like meditation were pleasant. Location-wise, it’s convenient—easy taxis, parking, close to temples and pandas. The only tiny wish? The pool could be a bit larger, but it didn’t take away from our nice stay. We’d likely return.

The scenery here is very beautiful. After we took the bus from Lijiang to Lugu Lake, the hotel drove to pick us up. It was very convenient. When we returned to Lijiang, the hotel could also help us arrange it. The location is very good.

Had a wonderful stay! The guesthouse was clean and cozy, the bed was really comfy, and the owner was so kind and helpful. Before coming, he added us on WeChat and helped us book tickets. The location was perfect about 10 minute walk from the east gate of the National Forest Park and an 8-minute walk from the charming Xiangxi performance, which is very convenient. There are many delicious restaurants and convenience stores nearby.— close to everything but still quiet. Highly recommended and I’d definitely come back!
