Guovanni was brilliant. Sloths in the garden, food was amazing.

Everything was dreamy perfect. It is literally in the jungle where all the sounds mellow your soul. Most beautiful and peaceful place I stayed in the country.owners are super friendly and helpful. You could feel like an explorer and be in a cozy place in the same time.

Room was super clean. Beautifully finished container conversion. Cozy little balcony in the back over looking a nice wooded area. Considering the room is only about 100 meters from a main road and a couple of bar-restaurants it is Super quiet. Room is perfect for an individual or a couple. It is equipped with a very comfortable queen size bed, Wi-fi, a desk to work if needed, a coffee maker, coffee, sugar, cream, a small fridge, good size TV, A/C, plenty of plug ports to charge your devices and a beautiful size bathroom. Room is also pretty eco friendly. Pre-check in was great, They provide you with a code to open the door so all you do is park and walk right in.

Great location, nice parc and lovely hotel. Roger was always willing to give advices and smiling just like his wife. We had access to the pool(s), inside and outside and even to the kitchen for the fridge.one of the best place to rest between 2 hard hikes.

Absolutely gorgeous newly renovated little hide away. The perfect stay close to busy Tamarindo. The owners are such lovley and helpful people, we would move in if we could ;-)

You’ll be welcomed by one of the friendliest hosts you could ever meet and treated to some of the finest food in Costa Rica. To top it all off, a resident sloth next door adds a uniquely delightful touch to the entire experience.

We had the most amazing stay! Millie and her family made us feel so welcome and treated us as personal guests. Very luxurious though relaxed settings - 10/10 would go back!

We stayed at La Prometida in Puerto Viejo for three wonderful nights last week. We were absolutely impressed by both the accommodation and the hospitality of Selva. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail: from the fresh coffee delivered to our door every morning (complete with adorable heart-shaped chocolates on Valentine's Day - a lovely touch!), to the stunning Ibiza-style interior of the villas themselves. This stay will definitely remain one of the highlights of our 15-day holiday. In short, a true paradise tucked away in a quiet side street of the breathtaking Playa Negra. An absolute must!
