Roger and Rose were super kind and helpful giving ideas for places to visit, where to eat etc. One of the highlights was the breakfast, every day with fresh fruit juice and varied costarican food. Malekus is located in a stunning location surrounded by nature at its best. Definitively highly recommendable!!

Guest reviewAbsolutely perfect. Thought of every detail to make you feel more than welcome. The staff and owners are very helpful and friendly, just a few guests thus no feeling of a crowded hotel, very tasty breakfast and morning coffee to the room before it, rooms are very clean and stylish, with terraces to a jungle. Just perfect. The location is 5 min to the beach (i dont know if its ok to swim there), 30 min walk to the town of Puerto Viejo and the main beach. Easy access even with a non 4x4 small simple car. There’s a restaurant nearby.
