Everything was perfect! This is one of the best hotels in Mindelo, in my opinion (and I've stayed at many of them). The rooms are just perfect: comfortable beds, good pillows, air-conditioning, good water pressure, hot water, blackout curtains, minibar with reasonable prices... The staff is very friendly and attentive. The breakfast (vegan on request) was amazing. Best breakfast I've had in Cape Verde. Very central location, within walking distance from most areas you'd want to visit during your stay. And I saved the best for last: a rooftop terrace with a jacuzzi with a view on Monte Cara. This hotel is a great addition to Mindelo. We immediately booked our next stay.

Very atmospheric and well kept boutique hotel with immaculate rooms and impeccable service. Located in an attractive and safe neighborhood, within walking distance of most sights and best restaurants of town. Our beautiful room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely French balcony. Abundant and delicious breakfast that could be enjoyed on one of the nice patios of the hotel. Super friendly and attentive staff. We regretted we only booked for just one night.

This is probably the best hotel on the island of Santo Antao. The whole thing makes you feel like you're in a castle. The owner is very helpful, she takes care of every detail of your stay. Although my room wasn't perfect I got a better room for the same price - for which I am very grateful. From the hotel you have an ideal point for mountain hiking to any place. Breakfasts are very tasty, everyone will find something for themselves. Erick was very helpful and always smiling during meals. This is an amazing place and an amazing island. Obrigado!

I loved this place! Liana is just absolutely fantastic, she really cares about the place. Her and the women that work in the hotel / kitchen are amazing! They always make you feel welcome and are so sweet. Cute cats and vegetarian food is the cherry on top! Totally recommend!

Loved everything! It’s comfortable, amazing views, close to beaches, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff is amazing! Everyone is so welcoming and always ready to help you! Special thanks to Dea who did an amazing job at decorating our room for my proposal. Thank you for everything!!

The host is very friendly and helpful. The terrasse is really nice with the mountain view and the cozy seats. It‘s a great starting point to a number of hikes in the Paul Valley.

Excellent location for eating and shopping in the beautiful town center. But TAKE CARE about the so-called Tourist Guides outside of the hotel trying to sell guided tours. I pre-payed ONE HUNDRED EURO for an agreed price of two-hundred euro covering a full guided round-trip on Fogo island including volcano visit. When walking up an volcano the guide told me being only participant that the walk was a change in schedule and the full price would be ONE THOUSAND EURO - and that he had access to a credit card machine. I decided to leave the minibus and walk all the way back to Sao Philipe. Next day the host of Hotel Savana told me that he is an authorized tourist guide and the he did NOT do anything illegal - believe it or not...

Breakfast was very nice and we had to leave early in the morning to go back to Sao Vicente, but they prepared for us even it was not breakfast time!

An exceptional location. We loved every minute of our stay and the surrounding walks. Food was delicious and well priced. We loved the service and the cosiness of the cabins. It was one of our highlights of our whole Cabo Verde adventure.
