Best location in the old town Our hotel is surrounded by a peaceful atmosphere - directly on the southern bank of the river next to the castle park with no road in between.
Staying at this accommodation was a great experience from start to finish. Upon arrival we received a nice welcome drink, which was a great start to our stay. The room was quiet, cozy, clean, well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. There was a beautiful view of the pilgrimage site of Mariahilfe from the window. A huge plus was the excellent breakfast made from local ingredients - fresh, tasty and with an emphasis on quality. We were also very pleased with the nice gift of a candle upon departure. Overall a perfect experience, we would love to come back here again!

We checked in for a night when travelling from Slovenia toward Munich airport and what a find! Clean, spacious, quiet, so well organised. The breakfast was incredible, do it yourself pancakes, eggs our way, beautiful bread basket, all fabulous and fresh. We had a quick sauna in our room too which was awesome. When we are back / we will plan some alpine adventures in this area to stay here again - it was the best - just too short for us!

Everything is really nice about the property. Not just the fabulous location…. The road up to the castle is already an experience…. The castle and the staff were amazing. and its not just that. It’s also the little details in the room that makes the stay wonderful. (And makes you feel the passion of the team and owner) …. The welcome liqueur in the room, the Penhaligon shampoo, body wash AND conditioner (the only hotel in Germany we stayed in that still had conditioner), the feather pen that turns out to be a real pen, the writing paper, etc etc. Dinner at the terrace is good,..to dine at such location amazing.

Silvia is an amazing host, she put thought into every detail to make her guesthouse warm and welcoming. Indeed we had a everything we needed in our room. Everything was clean, the shower and bath were awesome. Silvia made sure we had what we needed on a daily basis and also recommended the most beautiful hiking trail. We had a fabulous time!
