We travelled to Denmark, and made a trip in two parts. The first part was an exploration of Funen, with Falsled Kro as our basis. But Falsled Kro was a jewel to discover by itself. We can say a lot, or we can say nothing and rest in wonder. This is a magical place, with lovely and very helpful people, who immediately made you feel at home. And the cuisine, morning or evening, was above expectations. 11/10, and we'll be back someday :).

We were made to feel extremely welcome by the friendly owners who clearly care deeply about the comfort of their guests. The breakfast was exceptional and plentiful; a great example of what the Danes do best. Not only is the location beautiful with stunning views over the water – as an added bonus, we enjoyed the considerable collection of paintings by renowned Danish artist (and father of the current owner) Arne Haugen Sørensen – along with key Danish design pieces in the dining room.

The staff are great! They go above and beyond to accommodate your needs, the rooms are great, clean, comfortable, and themed with a beach theme, as its on Fanø island, and the breakfast, oh, man, the breakfast is amazing! The staff-members are extremely friendly and service-orientated. The bar on the top floor with the view over Copenhagen is wonderful. I have read in some reviews that visitors were not satisfied with the breakfast. I thought there was a good selection and I really enjoyed it!
