Mario and his wife were wonderful. Extremely helpful. They couldn't have been more gracious hosts.

Dinner and breakfast are included, you can eat at your appetite and the food is great. They offer a lot of activities in the hotel for great prices, massages, hot tubes, yoga and more. Amazing place to relax and enjoy the view and clam

Luisa was an excellent host and greeted us so warmly after our lengthy journey from Canada to the Galapagos Islands. The Chef created an exquisite meal just as the kitchen was getting ready to close, and it was fantastic!

Sofia, the host, was very friendly and helpful. A beautiful place, and was spotlessly clean. Nice breakfast and possible to have it early if needed. Convenient location a few minutes from the main plaza. Nice to have a roof top veranda. A beautiful small garden on the ground floor. I stayed för a total of 9 nights and would not hesitate to come back.

Can’t recommend this enough! Oscar and Daniela are such wonderful guests and were so welcoming and hospitable from the second we arrived. The property is beautiful, very quiet and relaxing. Hosts even gave us a private tour around the city. Which was much appreciated!

Particular shoutout to the staff at Itza Hotel, they were so helpful with all sorts of things. From restaurant and activity recommendations, to booking spa treatments, and sorting out after hours snacks. They were so kind and lovely!

Location near to the beach, great view

What truly made this stay unforgettable was the incredible hospitality. Javier is one of those rare people you remember – genuinely warm, attentive, and effortlessly kind. It’s clear he loves what he does, and it shines through in every detail. The Royal River Suites & Spa Aparthotel is a true haven – with a stunning pool, delicious breakfast, and rooms that instantly make you feel comfortable and cared for. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

Brilliant location,beautiful architecture and attention to detail

I loved staying at Margarit Boutique Hotel, it was a highlight of my seven week trip. The hotel is spotlessly clean, so comfortable, and so much thought has gone into the beautiful design. I literally watched the hummingbirds and other varieties for hours. It’s in a peaceful location on the edge of the town, felt very safe and walkable for a solo traveller. It was easy to get to from Quito Airport, and the perfect place to relax before or after an active adventure tour! They had lots of activity suggestions, and the breakfast was my favourite of my trip. Margarit and all the staff are lovely, shoutout to Ana and Valeria <3 Thank you team for a wonderful visit!
