beautiful location & the owner could not do enough to make our stay comfortable. we had the evening meal & it was outstanding.

This place is simply extraordinary! Every corner reveals loving details that testify to the passion of the wonderful hosts to create a perfect place of privacy and relaxation. If you want to be undisturbed and don't want to forgo a little luxury for body and soul, this is the place for you! Las Estrellas sets a new benchmark for me, against which all my future hotel reviews will have to be measured. Absolutely premium!

Pilar and Jesus were amazing hosts . “DETAIL “ is the secret to this accommodation. Everything is so detailed and it is a credit to the hosts. The property is located in a very quiet rural location with fabulous views. Peace and Tranquility in a beautiful renovated house, with some fabulous personal touches. The food is top class. I had a Steak and I don’t ever remember having one as nice or as well cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

We had the pleasure of visiting Mauric Boutique Hotel in Llagostera at the end of October, and it was a wonderful experience! The hotel is an incredibly cozy, intimate, and peaceful place where you can truly relax and enjoy the surroundings. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and accommodating, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious and served in a charming atmosphere that set the perfect tone for the day. The rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated, and equipped with comfortable beds, ensuring a great night’s sleep. An extra detail we truly appreciated was the free access to water and coffee. Additionally, the hotel is dog-friendly, which was a big plus for us! If we were to mention anything that could be improved, we missed having laundry facilities and a small fridge in the room for storing essentials. However, this didn’t detract much from the overall experience, which we look back on with fondness. All in all, we highly recommend Mauric Boutique Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and personal stay in beautiful surroundings. We'll be back!

Gema at the reception was very friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel is a beautiful building and tastefully renovated. Enough parking is available what is needed since it is situated a bit inland.

I am a very frequent traveller and stayed in more than a hundred 5 star hotels all over the world and I can say that Hotel Rector is easily one of the best. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive, beds are comfortable and breakfast is fantastic. I wish there is a Hotel Rector and in every city, I will choose no others.

The hotel is very stylish ( a combination of minimalism and natural materials), extremely clean and Luz is absolutely adorable host made us feel at home.

This beautiful boutique hotel is a true gem - hidden in an only seemingly small cottage in a tiny village at the end of the world (or at least the end of Spain), This area few kilometers from the border with Portugal is amazing and begs to be explored - ancient megalithic sites, ruins of Roman conquest and hot spring baths and beautiful tall mountains - and this lovingly restored and kept hotel is the perfect base. The restaurant wasn't open when we stayed but breakfast was plenty. The rooms were beautiful and the large common areas invited to sit and talk or pick up a book.
