I travel solo and had an absolutely wonderful experience at Lodge du Chateau — I couldn’t be happier with my stay. Simon is an exceptional host: attentive, available, and genuinely interested in his guests’ happiness and needs. My plans to visit the Simien Mountains and the Castle didn’t work out at first, but he offered great alternatives. I am very grateful for his dedication, transparency, and sincere passion for ensuring a great guest experience! A special mention to Tesema, always ready to help and welcoming everyone with a warm smile! Facilities: the room was spacious and comfortable, everything worked perfectly, and the lodge has a lovely garden and a very pleasant balcony. Breakfast was excellent, and having coffee and tea available throughout the day made the stay feel even more pleasant!

I had a wonderful two-day stay in Lalibela. My room looked at the valley and mountains. The owner of the hotel is very interested. He was there every time I needed it and he immediately met my needs. Hot water, internet, comfortable beds, warm welcome, great breakfast and smiling face. I hope I come back

My stay in Top Twelve Hotel was memorable. The hotel is located along a cliff offering the best view on the valley and outstanding sunsets. The breakfast on the terrace was tasty with home brewed Ethiopian coffee, omelet, local bread and honey. The hotel is warmly decorated with local colours and furniture.  My room was spacious with a private balcony and soothing view. The room was quiet, bed was comfortable, water pressure was not great but enough to shower with continous hot water. The hotel is at walking distance  from the outstanding Ben Abeba restaurant. Dawit and Yordanos are very nice and responsive hosts. They did their best to make my stay memorable, including the organisation of private guided tours in Lalibela and around.

Clear and useful communication before check in including transport options and tours. Friendly and helpful staff. Amazing view from the room. Best value for money.

Great location in the center of gondar, few min from the main attractions. Four sisters is a welcoming guest house, it provides you all the service you need to be comfortable in Gondar. Rooms is nice and clean with good bathroom and hot shower. Bed is large and comfortable. All the room is clean and the linen and towels changed on daily basis. The area is quiet, there is no noise inside the room and can sleep without any trouble. There are restaurants nearby, included one run by the same owner of the guesthouse which offers good local food. Highly recommended.

The hotel has a great view, delicious food, fast internet, and good hot water. It’s located in the city center, within walking distance to the Lalibela churches. Truly the best hotel in Lalibela!

Very kind personel, quite place.

Great value within 10 minutes of all the churches. Quiet stay. I hadn't booked anything in advance, but they came to pick me up at the airport to my surprise and helped me coordinate everything. I would definitely suggest staying here for a more authentic experience.

Very courteous and friendly service. Nice spa facilities. Delicious breakfast.
