Beautiful, nordic styled, excellent hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We ask if the sauna can still be used, and we were told it has just been closed, but they offered to heat it up for us for an additional hour at 10 PM, and they did. Very kind. We were offered/got a free upgrade for kindness and the suite was amazing.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, thanks to its prime location (just a 7-minute walk from the heart of Tórshavn) and stunning sea view from my room. The room was quiet and clean, had a pleasant layout and felt very spacious. The hotel's interior and exterior are well-maintained. The staff was exceptionally friendly and always willing to help with any request. The breakfast was delicious and offered a diverse selection to suit all tastes. Overall, I highly recommend this eco-friendly hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Staying at the Runavik Hotel was a very nice part of our trip to the Faroe Islands. We stayed for one night at first, but ended up staying for two more nights. The central location of the hotel was convenient for us, with nowhere far to go. We were also given a complimentary upgrade to the best room and although Booking didn't advertise it, breakfast was part of our stay. Everyone in the restaurant was also very nice, both the lady who took care of breakfast and the lady who served us for dinner. The breakfast deserves a special comment as it was very varied - sweet, savoury pastries, sausages, eggs, cold cuts, a wide range of cheeses, cereals etc. We can really recommend a stay in the hotel to anyone looking for comfort when travelling around the beautiful Faroe Islands.
