Best service you can which, good hotel, dinner and breakfast. They are so friendly, prepared a meal specially for us because the restaurant was closed. Quite, clean room and good beds. We can recommend this to everyone.

The staff at the hotel were so kind and accommodating, making sure that everything was perfect for us. The rooms were always spotless and perfectly kitted out with the latest technology. Food was exceptional - delicious and delivered to rooms and to the poolside within minutes. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in.

The Donaine is set in the most incredible chateau and grounds. It is renovated to the highest of standards with a contemporary feel. Every single detail is perfect. The room was large more like a suite in the chateau itself with the most spectacular view of the lake. The bedding and pillows are so incredibly soft and the staff cater to your every whim. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and extremely helpful.

What a special and magical place Demeure des Valette is! This was our second visit to this splendid hotel. The hosts Agnes and Elisabeth are extremely generous and welcoming. Elisabeth is such a wonderful chef: delicious soups, delectable, tasty and plentiful main courses and her yummy desserts being tarte tatin au poire then the following evening it was brioche perdu. We felt very spoilt indeed when my husband requested lamb for dinner and Elisabeth was only to happy to prepare this for us. The dining and breakfast tables were always presented with both care and pride. One night we enjoyed cheese, a green salad and crusty beside an open fire. The hotel itself is more than just charming with its decor and rustic surroundings it provides a calm environment made even more special by Elisabeth and Agnes. Thank you and until next time!

Pier and his family kind and welcoming Every item we tried was a delight, clearly made with care and quality ingredients. The presentation is as beautiful as the taste. It’s evident that the team here genuinely cares about creating a memorable experience for their guests. Honestly, it deserves more than just 3 stars. This is the kind of place that stays with you — not just because of the flavors, but because of the heart behind everything they do. Highly recommended!

The property and its grounds were stunning. The attention to detail and personalisation was outstanding. The manager of the hotel gave us a tour of the building and grounds with information about its history which was really interesting and added a special touch. We were welcomed with exceptional service (and a complimentary arrival drink) and genuinely felt like nothing was too much for the staff. The room was decorated to perfection and had everything you’d think of needing. You have personal use of the spa area by giving a little notice which is something we’ve never had before. The grounds, decor, staff and breakfast were all perfect and genuinely can’t be faulted. We can’t wait to stay again in summer!

The room was large and beautifully decorated. The bed was huge and very comfortable The hosts were delightful and thoughtful and very attentive. An amazing,fresh and healthy breakfast
