We are a family of five including 3 children, and the apartment we lived on the 4th floor was spacious enough and has such an amazing view. We had a comfortable stay and the place made a positive experience for our travels in Ilulissat. I would definitely recommend it to larger families ad anyone wishing a spacious and comfortable stay in one of the most far away locations in the world. Great thanks to the staff member Oraly (from France) for her hospitality and friendliness.

This place is a paradise on earth. Great for relaxation, walks, iceberg and whale watching. There is a superb panoramic terrace, which is accessible 24 hours a day and you can feel the incredible atmosphere of the summer white nights, suitable for eating, drinking drinks or just contemplating the icebergs and the fjord. The breakfast is superb and authentic and includes great offers. The transfers to and from the airport are hassle-free. The restaurant is superb, although with a very limited menu and offers local specialties, which we had not tried anywhere else. The team is uniquely kind and helpful! We are charmed!

I recently stayed at this amazing hotel and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The sea view room I booked was nothing short of breathtaking! The view of the ocean was spectacular, and the room itself was impeccably designed and well-equipped, offering everything I could possibly need for a comfortable stay. I would also like to extend my sincere gratitude to the front desk staff. They were incredibly friendly, professional, and efficient. From the moment I arrived, they made sure I felt welcome and at ease. Their attention to detail was exceptional, and they took the time to ensure all my needs were met with patience and care. It really made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my experience here and will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect getaway. Hotel SØMA Sisimiut is located just 40 km from the Polar Circle and offers a 24 hr reception and a cafeteria. Sisimiut Harbour is just a 5-minute walk from the property.
Welcoming atmosphere, comfortable room and helpful staff. Good breakfast and cafeteria was useful to have cake and coffee in the afternoon sand if you arrive prompt at 5.30 an evening meal at a reasonable price. It was a popular meeting place for local people. Used both their laundry service and spa. They also adjusted our booking when our ferry was delayed. Many thanks to the team. If in that part of tge world again we would definitely stay there.
