The owners Jochen and Gaby are fantastic people and super welcoming. The property is well organised and clean. The food is great, overall the hosts are taking great care and attention to detail to make your stay perfect.

Wonderful hotel. The villas on the water are suberb, the hot tub is a huge plus. Service is good, we enjoyed room service. Breakfast was good, but not impressive. The dinner was okay- not perfect.

When we arrived we felt like at home. All of their workers there are super nice, have a nice smile and they make everything happen that you feel super nice there. The standard of everything there is just higher than in any other hotel we have been so far in Guatemala. If it comes to the shower, bathroom, bed or any other facilities, it’s just great! Also the small details! And the best thing is really as already mentioned the staff there. This is one of the hotels where you will say in a few years, remember the „El Viajero“ in rio dulce, and you‘ll immediately remember which one it was.

What amazing hotel. This was my second time in Atitlan and last time I made the mistake of staying in a larger village. This time I chose a smaller village and Aviva hotel, and it was the perfect choice. The room was incredible, comfy bed, stunning views, tasty coffee and a terrace to relax. And the breakfast was sooo good. Run, don't walk to stay here if you visit lake atitlan.

Lovely ambience. Facilities new and in excellent condition. Comfortable. Calm, relaxing. Staff were very engaging, work together well as a team, respond promptly to any minor issues that arise. The modest exterior disguises a very nicely styled interior. Everything was excellent.

Beautiful location. Quiet and fairly remote (having your own rentacar is an advantage). Right by the lake. Nice swimming. Nice, clean design of buildings and rooms. Halfboard convenient. Good varied food and bar.

Breakfast that is included is incredible, the cabina was amazing with the most incredible views, staff were wonderful, food was good, i was literally sad to leave. Other activities there were great, easy to get to as well.

The hotel is well-maintained, the rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast is excellent. The hotel staff is very attentive and kind. We will return to this hotel.

Just an incredible experience. I could not ask for more, most beautiful surroundings/views, great breakfast and relaxed atmosphere by the pool with refreshing drinks made by the bar staff
