Solène and Stéphane are the best hosts you could ever imagine, they are bringing such a good energy on this pristine resort with magnificent view! Stéphane took us for a dawn patrol surf sessions with the quads, and spent a lot of time with us on the evening ☺️. We will definitely come back!

One of the best places we've ever stayed. This was the second time we spent some time at Desa Hay. The place looks like paradise. The luxurious villas are brilliantly created with all the extra details you wouldn't even think of. They are very private, feels like you are in the middle of a Jungle. The cleanliness is spotless. The staff is extremely kind, welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious, the cocktails are unique that we had at the restaurant with a view to the picturesque pool. We enjoyed every moment we spent at Desa Hay and I'm sure we'll come back again. I only can recommend Desa Hay. A place you will never forget!

Wonderful greek-inspired hotel. Everything is well designed in detail even with a Mykonos-style windmill and beautiful gardens. Must stay here if you come to Maurere. Great, bright rooms, modern good bathroom, good aircon, quiet lication. And also good wifi. Very welcoming staff and a very nice manager who reallt cares about his guests and can give tips, arrange a shared taxi and help to get an "ojek" (motorbike taxi) or rent motorbike. We enjoyed also the delicious breakfast with great choices and home-made marmelade and fresh fruits. Dinner in restaurant excellent, too, with reasonable pricing. They offer also cold beer. And they had a library with german books. There is a beach nearby (15 min walk) , east of hotel. Ok for swimming at high tide. Also nice for beach walk and beach has a beach-side cafe open at day-time. Ojeks and minibuses (normally crowded) go along the road , one does not need own transport.

Everything is brand new. Right by the blue sea. Very quiet place. You have to drive everywhere.

Private, clean, lovely staff and food, and the beds were amazing

Immediately upon arrival, we were greeted by Eka with a warm smile, cold towels, and a complimentary cooler. Check-in was completely stress-free, and the staff were so efficient and accommodating that we were able to check in two hours early. We were then introduced to Dicky, who was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us a thorough tour of the entire property, making sure we were well-acquainted with all the facilities. He was professional and seamlessly communicated our dietary preferences to the rest of the team, ensuring that everything was handled without any confusion. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous, with sweeping views of the rice fields from the main living area and pool. It truly felt like paradise. The chef’s food was impeccable, and the portion sizes were perfect—each meal a delight. We visited at the end of the tourist season, so we had the entire place to ourselves for five days. Despite the quieter atmosphere, the staff remained attentive and made sure every need was met, providing exceptional service throughout our stay. Gusti provided outstanding service, always going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. He ensured our every need was met with warmth and professionalism, while also engaging us in meaningful conversations that gave us a deeper understanding of Balinese culture. His insights into local customs, traditions, and daily life were fascinating, and we truly appreciated how he took the time to share his knowledge, enriching our experience. Ade also provided exceptional service, always attentive and ready to assist with anything we needed. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the animals around the property, offering interesting facts that made our stay even more enjoyable. We also went on a half-day tour with Rana, who was a fantastic driver, very funny, and even taught us some of the local language to use during our trip.

The owner of the villa, mr. Angu, was an excellent host who gave us a tour of the area, including some amazing waterfalls and his houses located nearby, which were of great tourist interest because they were very large and featured ancient temples Also the breakfast and the dinner that we had from chef Wayan has super tasty The suit girl Eza also was wonderful person and she did everything for us!!! The villa was amazing!!!!!! Just amazing!!!!

The location is excellent, very central. The room is big and the bathroom even bigger, we loved it. Here we had one of the best breakfasts in Ubud, everything is freshly made and to order (pre-ordered the evening before). The room terrace is overlooking lush vegetation, a truly relaxing place.

The tents were like a 5 star hotel room, in fact probably better in terms of character and ambience. Nice and cool too! Very laid back and Pim the manager and his team, went out of their way to ensure the stay was great. The bed was awesome too!

The location of this hotel is perfect: It feels like a very remote and quiet, nevertheless it is close to the town of langur which is convenient if some shopping is needed. The hotel manager, Ronald, behaved more like a friend than a hotel manager. The breakfast, which was included in the option I took, was delicious and very copious. At request also lunch and dinner could be prepared. A good restaurant is also located at 200m. Excursions on the island and nearby islands could be organised for democratic prices. There were also bicycles available. There was also a possibility to swim. Finally the hotel was very clean and the beds were comfortable.
