I spent three incredible days at Corrib Lodge with my wife, and as a fishing enthusiast, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The Lodge is located right on the lake, with private access, and the views are absolutely stunning , but what really makes the difference is the fishing. This place is run by an Italian owner who’s not only a great chef but also a passionate and knowledgeable guide. Every day we went out on the lake with him, fully equipped with top-notch gear, exploring hidden spots, landing great catches, and hearing fascinating stories about the lake’s history. We even stopped on remote islands and visited old castles along the way. They also organize deep-sea fishing trips for those who want to explore the ocean, a great option I’ll definitely try next time. The whole team is friendly and professional, and the atmosphere is relaxed but well-run. If you love fishing and want something truly special, Corrib Lodge is the place. I’ll be back for sure.

We were very fortunate to secure this booking and found the facilities to be first class and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect for our needs and was quiet, secure and handy to the start of the Wild Atlantic Way. Good on-site parking. The breakfast and other small touches were very much appreciated. Everything for us was 10/10. The staff went above and beyond. Comfortable, spacious rooms. Lovely drinks in the beautiful cellar bar. Delicious breakfast options in the morning.

The owner and staff are very personable and helpful. The front rooms have a stunning coastal view and was very comfortable. The hotel were great in coping with food intolerance, and the breakfast menu extensive and food excellent.

We spent a very lovely weekend at the Merrion. We really enjoyed the pool and the spa and the breakfast was fabulous. Very quiet and relaxing environment while being close to the city centre. We will be back!

We stayed in The Studio, with two ensuite bedrooms, and a communal lounge area. It was perfect for a group of 4. The centre of Kenmare is a 5 minute walk along a direct path. The hotel was welcoming, with free tea and coffee bought to your room. But the absolute highlight was the food. All breakfast items were made by the hotel, including amazing scones and rhubarb compote that reminded me of my grandmother’s.

Beautiful position and house. The grounds are lovely and the rooms are very comfortable . The receptionist is very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is a fine oiled machine. Upon arrival, greeted by a fire, welcoming staff, and a warm Feeling that’s sets the scene for relaxation.
