I spent three incredible days at Corrib Lodge with my wife, and as a fishing enthusiast, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The Lodge is located right on the lake, with private access, and the views are absolutely stunning , but what really makes the difference is the fishing. This place is run by an Italian owner who’s not only a great chef but also a passionate and knowledgeable guide. Every day we went out on the lake with him, fully equipped with top-notch gear, exploring hidden spots, landing great catches, and hearing fascinating stories about the lake’s history. We even stopped on remote islands and visited old castles along the way. They also organize deep-sea fishing trips for those who want to explore the ocean, a great option I’ll definitely try next time. The whole team is friendly and professional, and the atmosphere is relaxed but well-run. If you love fishing and want something truly special, Corrib Lodge is the place. I’ll be back for sure.

I loved everything. It was an experience I won't forget. I originally hadn't chosen to stay here, but decided how can I NOT stay at a castle while touring Ireland!? (After all, I AM a queen! 😉) The grounds and building are exquisite, dinner was delicious and all staff were very helpful (shout out to my server at dinner, I'm horrible with names, but this young lady was very friendly, very timely/helpful) I didn't have dress clothes with me, and didn't once feel uncomfortable The bed was made for a queen, so comfortable! The room as well...just indescribable! I'd encourage anyone to just do it and stay!

We were very fortunate to secure this booking and found the facilities to be first class and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect for our needs and was quiet, secure and handy to the start of the Wild Atlantic Way. Good on-site parking. The breakfast and other small touches were very much appreciated. The overall atmosphere was unique, comfortable and welcoming. The staff were very helpful with suggestions of shat to do and where to eat. The breakfast and evening drinks were wonderful.

Everything for us was 10/10. The staff went above and beyond. Comfortable, spacious rooms. Lovely drinks in the beautiful cellar bar. Delicious breakfast options in the morning.

The owner and staff are very personable and helpful. The front rooms have a stunning coastal view and was very comfortable. The hotel were great in coping with food intolerance, and the breakfast menu extensive and food excellent.

We spent a very lovely weekend at the Merrion. We really enjoyed the pool and the spa and the breakfast was fabulous. Very quiet and relaxing environment while being close to the city centre. We will be back!
