Truly Special Retreat Our stay at Mharo Khet was an experience we’ll never forget. From the moment we arrived, there was a sense of calm and stillness that made us feel instantly at ease — it’s the kind of place that gently slows you down and lets you reconnect with yourself. The spaces are beautifully thought through — elegant, earthy, and in perfect harmony with the farm around them. The little design touches stood out to us: handmade rugs, pottery, mother-of-pearl inlaid tables, and open decks with rocking chairs where you can sit and watch the colors of dawn and dusk unfold. Everything felt authentic and personal, never overdone, and yet so comfortable. What made it even more special were the experiences woven into daily life here — like starting the morning with a soothing champi (head massage), or trying our hand at weaving a traditional charpoy with the team. These small, thoughtful touches brought us closer to the spirit of the place. And the food… absolutely unforgettable. Each meal felt like a celebration of the farm — inventive, fresh, and full of flavor. Dining here is not just eating, it’s a journey that lingers with you. Overall our experience was great and I’m so happy we chose Mharo Khet for our getaway. I can’t wait to be back to immerse in their experiences and soak in the culture they offer.

Exquisite lakeside property, beautifully looked after by the staff. Vinod and his team went to every length to make our stay magical. The food is very very good, home made tagliatelle with clams fished from the lake, fabulous curries and a different veg at every meal. Pool was lovely to swim in with the smell of frangipani wafting from the tree as I did my lengths. We saw otters playing by the jetty every day and fisherman going by or collecting sand. It is very peaceful and we didn’t end up leaving the property as it was such bliss

Nice hotel heritage. Well located from airport and major sightseeing places. Surprised to see how well maintained and clean the premises are kept. Public places are regularly sanitised. The hotel has a superb swimming pool and the whole place is very relaxing. Front desk Manager Mr Balveer is a wonderful person, doing to the best of his ability to keep residents happy. Mr Balveer is an excellent English speaker and arrange our sightseeing activities in Jodhpur, a very informative heritage walk in the blue city. Food at the restaurant is simply the best. Live traditional music played during dinner time. Pakoras, farathas, Lassi, kebabs were a royal treat at the restaurant. All waiters were very nice and provided an excellent customer service. They even arranged for delicious packed breakfast for us to bring to airport since our flight was early morning. Housekeeping people are very dedicated in their work, keeping the villa clean and comfortable place to stay.

I recently visited a vegetarian boutique property by Jomotel group. Being a strict vegetarian i'm always concerned about whether the property takes due care of the needs. It was a very comfortable stay with greenery in the midst of an orchard overlooking a picturesque valley view. The staff closely looked after my needs taking care of every small details. The rooms are cosy, beautiful with wooden and stone work and the views fromt he room itself is breathtaking. I would highly recommend this place for people who want spme peace & quiet from the hustle bustle of the city life.
