Near Hemije only 30mins away on local JR train, so convenient for visiting Hemije castle. This is a truly authentic Ryokan in a small town. The town is unremarkable, but the rooms and the meal was absolutely Fantastic, and perhaps the most authentic experience of a Ryokan we had over a 16 day trip in Japan. Absolutely loved the hospitality and friendliness of the hotel staff. The room was comfy and clean, to top it off, the shower room has functions to keep it heated and warm which is nice when the weather is cold! The location is also great and not far from the station!
