Near Hemije only 30mins away on local JR train, so convenient for visiting Hemije castle. This is a truly authentic Ryokan in a small town. The town is unremarkable, but the rooms and the meal was absolutely Fantastic, and perhaps the most authentic experience of a Ryokan we had over a 16 day trip in Japan. I would definitely recommend and i hope one day myself to return.

Great location. Great facilities, one of the best hotels we've stayed at. Impeccably clean. The staff was most hospitable and most helpful. They speak English very well. They were an immense help in organising everything, even afterwards when we were already in another city! Their sincere eagerness to help made us feel very safe and welcome. The room was spacious and nicely furnished, with all the utilities one can think of. I slept very well during the night as the room is soundproof.
