The Welcome was great Food was excellent Bed was very comfortable This small hotel was the best stay we had in Japan. We stayed only one night but all was perfect from the first minute to the last one. Diner was great and the host was very nice. Definitely to recommend!

Rika and Gareth made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was outstanding and provided us with the fuel to hit the slopes during the day. The Accomodation is modern and roomy by Japanese standards. The location is a short walk to the Kitanomine gondola (we are snowboarders and prefer to walk as part of our warm-up). Alternatively, you can catch a lift if you want! Rika is Furano born and speaks excellent English. She and her husband were also happy to teach us some Japanese and share/explain local customs.

Very relaxing and peaceful, I fully enjoyed my stay there! The breakfast was amazing, and the open-air bath was even better than I expected. The staff was very welcoming and friendly too.

Amazing friendly staff, location could not be better, short walking distance to Dotomburi, Namba, Shinsaibashi, access to train and subway stations to go everywhere. We stayed for 8 nights, making Osaka our base to visit Kyoto, Nara, Kobe and USJ. Hotel88 is in a good spot to catch trains or subway to reach all those places. The drink bar and the massage chairs were great at the end of tiring days walking around. Very comfortable bedding and pillows. It was an amazing place to stay, would stay here again anytime.
