Very nice and helpfull staff. Great location and nice accommodation. We also enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant. Gladly again!

There is absolutely nothing we could fault about our stay here. We came for our honeymoon and had the most amazing time. Staff were wonderfully helpful, our room was incredible and the breakfasts were delicious. Thank you for making our time in Kyoto so special.

Everything was perfect. Room layout was great. Wonderful view. The pool was also fantastic. Breakfast was also very good, I would say among some of the best I've had.

Lovely, spacious ryokan. Very clean, great breakfast. Little bit removed from Myoko Onsen village (10-15 minutes walk) but very close to Myoko Kogen lift area. A pleasure to stay!

Boutique luxury hotel in Hakone. I believe there are only 9 rooms in total. Brand new and stunning. The room is fantastic - decent size, bathroom huge, wardrobe, bed comfortable and loved the traditional feel to everything in the room, your own onsen with beautiful wooden surroundings that you fill with water yourself and can hear the large waterfall from the native bush below. Just divine and relaxing. Smart tv that you can watch from the onsen or in bed. Because of the waterfall you needed to have the volume up quite high though. Drinks in fridge were for your enjoyment free of charge. They include drinks and snacks in the restaurant area in the afternoon for your enjoyment. Lovely check in process, with a personal touch and a traditional tea. Bus stop right there at road entrance to the hotel - we used this a few times during our stay. Taxi is best when arriving and leaving with suitcases given the hills. 7 eleven a few hundred metres walk. We didn’t want to leave!

Lovely boutique 5 star hotel with cool history, beautiful design, over-the-top amenities, and wonderful staff. Kid friendly. I would come to Kyoto again and stay here :)

The staff is incredible, they are helpful and lovely. The rooms are beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. I recommand this hotel for a stay in Kyoto, everything was perfect.

Staff were kind and helpful, ready to speak in English when needed. Room was great, many thoughtful amenities and a comfortable sleep.

Everything was absolutely excellent. Only 7 suites. The design and aesthetics were a perfect combination of traditional and contemporary. Quality focused through and through. Carefully curated. Quiet and peaceful. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Family owned. A working owner. The suites are roomy and mine was two stories and had a separate walk-in shower and soaking tub. Location was great as well. Not far from the train station. I plan on and look forward to staying here again.
