Guest reviewThe house was simple but well-designed, with modern and comfortable rooms. We found the tatami room very comfortable too. In the evenings we enjoyed drinks at their homely dining room. The hosts, Rika and Gareth, were extremely warm and friendly. It was like staying with friends. They served us two very delicious Japanese breakfasts when we requested for them.

The room is clean and comfortable, with the option to independently adjust the heating/air conditioning for a very comfortable stay. The staff is very warm, professional, and attentive. They are willing to assist travel-related inquiries, like calling taxis, making restaurant reservations…… providing a welcoming home-like atmosphere. The hotel's location is convenient, with a convenience store just a 1-minute walk away and the Kamo River reachable within a 5-minute walk. It's a hotel one would want to revisit and recommend to friends.
