The house was simple but well-designed, with modern and comfortable rooms. We found the tatami room very comfortable too. In the evenings we enjoyed drinks at their homely dining room. Very beautiful, traditional hotel with very friendly staff. Big cozy rooms, with an amazing hot tub. An awesome experience, and being located in Gion, it truly feels like diving into traditional Japanese culture.

Very good location within walking distance from the station and close to the bus stops. We had a very nice and reasonably spacious room. The Muso has wonderful helpful staff and thank you in particular to Ryo for looking after us. The hotel is quiet but within an easy walk of restaurants and shops. A reasonable walk to Kawaramachi and Gojo to see some of the many highlights in Kyoto.
