Guest reviewThe owners - Joyce and Claude - are extremely friendly. They made us feel at home from the beggining. They helped us with everything - transport from airport, organizing Safari trips, buyin food (they have a shop as well) ... Joyce is also a very good cook - her food is tasty and, even more important, we didn't have any stomach problems during our stay (which is quite rare in Africa). Their prices are also reasonable. Clear 10/10.

Guest reviewWe had a lovely stay in Iten with Joyce, Claude and Jeff. We had arrived by bicycle in need of a relaxing rest day and JC Iten did not disappoint. The food was outstanding, rooms very comfortable and clean and the hosts so helpful. Lovely cats and massive thanks for the advice regarding our onward travel. If we return to Iten in the future, JC will be where we stay!! :)

Guest reviewIt was a great location overseeing the valley. And the Maasai Mara park. I had an incredible dinner. The best goat of my life. The people were also super nice. We went for a Nature walk which was lovely. Even after having seen the Governors camp in the paek. It was so cool as we could WALK and not drive between the Zebras and Gnus.

Guest reviewDeerpark was the perfect place to stay for me during my visit to Nairobi. I was there with a colleague, and we had a very busy schedule during the days. Coming back to Deerpark in the evenings was a balm! The lush garden, the friendly hellos from everyone on the staff, the quiet and the lovely house all contributed to making me feel relaxed and safe. Our every need was catered for by the handful of staff, from remembering our breakfast preferences to helping with the booking of transport, and being able to order a variety of food from the menu. The atmosphere was relaxed, yet caring. The place is small, and to me that is infinetely preferable to chain luxury hotels, and at a fraction of the price, too. I will be sure to stay there again if I come to Nairobi.

Guest reviewOur stay was a unique experience that me and my partner will never forget. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Little details everywhere remind you that this is a luxury experience. The food was world-class. But the best thing is the location next to the Mara River. Hearing the hippos bellowing while in bed inside our tent and our game drives early in the morning with an incredibly knowledgeable and expert Masai driver are the kind of things that will stay with us forever.
