Everything about our stay was wonderful and the hosts made sure that we had a great stay. The room was clean and has a powerful and hot shower. The balcony and pool have beautiful views and are perfect after a day exploring Dambulla and Sigiriya. Our hosts were happy to prepare whatever food we wanted, we asked for their choice and both nights it was delicious. Breakfast was also excellent, and plentiful! I wish we could have stayed longer than 2 nights!

The outdoor space, with its stunning views, breakfast was superb, was especially amazing. Everything, every little detail, was just fascinating. The rooms are set in an amazingly beautiful garden, and are very well equipped & super comfortable. Treat yourself to local dinner - so far our best meal in Sri Lanka (and we had many very good dinners before!), don't miss it. As for the hosts - everyone was super friendly and welcoming, we were served delicious tea upon arrival and Leel spoke very good English. As for the safari - we can't imagine a better guide taking care of us. Leel knew the park very well (showed us beautiful places off the beaten path), you could see he cared very much for the wellbeing of present animals and was very knowledgeable about them. Overall, he's a guy that would save you even from a charging elephant.

The host is amazing! They help you with everything! Also The rooms are super. Airco and fan + multiple lights. And ofcourse a nice warm shower. We booked a safari tour with them and the driver is also The guide. He has much knowledge of the animals and has eagle eyes so he spots anything you are looking for. 10/10

The super friendly staff, who went out of their way to make our stay memorable (eg when my daughter hurt herself they produced a toy elephant for her to keep, or making different dishes of food because had never tried them). Added to this the very relaxed vibe of the place made it the perfect place to end our holiday.

Let me start by saying that the staff went over and beyond during our stay (and post-stay experience). We had a mishap at a nearby city and the staff promptly came down and provided us with support to get us out of a blunder. We also left an item behind when we proceeded to our next hotel, and they travelled 2 hours to courier the item to us. Really beyond thankful. Wonderful breakfast spread and dinner on request, and we also met the owner who was a generous host. The pool was impeccably clean and the room was spacious and comfortable.

best budget one and Udawalwe park is amazing for elephants. We had a great driver and guide and we saw a huge number of animals, up close and varied. We then went to watch a huge amount of baby elephants (orphaned :( ) being fed. This was fun, and pretty quick.
