I liked many things about Nuga Retreat. First of all, the beautiful, natural surroundings with mountain views created a unique atmosphere of peace and relaxation. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, providing convenience, and the outdoor pool was a great place to unwind. I also really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who truly made an effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

The stay was absolutely perfect! I wouldn’t change one thing about this place. We stayed for one night and from start to finish, the service and hospitality was exceptional, we were truly treated like family. The food was cooked fresh to order and absolutely divine, and we were fed until we couldn’t eat any more! The bed was super comfy and all the bathroom facilities were really good. The safari was great too. I don’t often write reviews but this place deserves one! The owner even called to speak to us just before we left to make sure we had a good stay!

It was a pleasure to stay at Leel's Safari Cottage! Leel, Nameli and Leel's Mother are such heartful persons, we had a lot of fun together! The rooms are very new and have a nice view to the garden which is wunderful! Make the Safari Tour with Lee, he has very good knowledge, and gives his best to give you the most special experience. He showed us so many animals! Also the food his mother and wife are cooking is very delicious! His taxi driver sameera is also great.We highly recommend this place, and hope we come back soon! The super friendly staff, who went out of their way to make our stay memorable (eg when my daughter hurt herself they produced a toy elephant for her to keep, or making different dishes of food because had never tried them). The pool area is fantastic, offering the perfect place to relax and enjoy peaceful moments. This hotel is quiet, full of good energy, and ideal for anyone looking to unwind. Mayava Villa has definitely raised the bar for all the hotels we will choose in the future, and we will absolutely spend more time here next time. Highly recommended!

What a beautiful place to stay! Great place to relax by the pool or use as a base to explore the area. Rooms were spacious, breakfast was delicious and really wished we could have stayed longer. The host Peter really made everything special!

Everything was absolutely perfect. Staff: Janaka was very welcoming and helpful. Once you arrive you are gifted with a welcome drink and some fruits. They have offered us a ride from and to the train station. Laundry service was provided free of charge. Every day our room was super clean and organized after room service. Location: The hotel is close to ahangama, nevertheless it is located in the middle of the jungle far enough from the busy area. You can enjoy the hotel to relax and feel the nature. Facilities: The room was clean, modern and very big. The bed was very comfortable. You can find all the amenities you will need, including for example: yoga mattresses, gym weights, food in the fridge, etc.
