The owners are amazing. Super friendly, always ready to help and give awesome suggestions not only in terms of restaurants but also sightseeing. The room is unbelievable. Big, beautiful and histórical. The jacuzzi will be missed, its everything you see in the photos and more. The location is great, near everything. The streets are super instagramable and the hotel is very welcoming and nice. It's a place like no other, not only because of the way we were treated but also the historical building which has been renovated. When we comeback to malta, this will be our first stop! Highly recommend it!

The staff is really the shining star of this hotel. I wish I could remember the name of the gentleman who assisted me on my arrival on May 30th - because he was so exceptional (it wasn't the manager who wasn't there). Either way - exceptional hotel. Gorgeous rooftop with a view of the harbour. Also the unique character of the former Palazzo really shines through. There's a ferry service at the door of the hotel to take you to Valletta which is quite fun. And Birgu itself is charming and historical. I nice change from the more over-touristed pace of Valletta.

First of all, the location was very good and easy to find. We arrived late so they made sure we can manage to self check-in and left a note with the key and wi-fi password. The room was really nice, the bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. We also had an amazing pool with a nice garden.

The receptionist was so kind, professional and pleasant and the reception area is very nice. You’ve got ice water at the entrance and between 18:00-19:00 has happy hour free drinks. ( we didn’t have the chance to taste it but I believe it’s wonderful. ) The breakfast has many choices and the environment everywhere is spotless. The room and the bathroom was spacious, modern with lovely Maltese balcony. The total price for that room size and room type was very worthy considering it’s 5 stars and it’s in the heart of Valletta. The minibar in the room is toooooo good!
