I had an unforgettable stay at Handhuvaru Maldives. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, making me feel right at home. I loved cycling through the beautiful palm forest, enjoying fishing excursions, and visiting the private island where I experienced some of the best snorkeling ever. I rate this paradise 11 out of 12 and can’t wait to return soon! ❤️

This was probably the best vacation I’ve ever had! The true definition of peace and quiet, not only because of the absolutely stunning surrounding natural beauty, but mostly, because all the staff make their best to create an unforgettable experience for the guests. The cleaning service is flawless, food is delicious - most fresh and tasty fish ever - and the private beach feels like an absolute dream. The room has lovely features, the bed is really comfortable, and everything has a very nice, tradicional (but modern) decoration. Many thanks to the owner Rasheed, for always looking after me and encouraging me to make the most of my days in Rakeedhoo. Also Niyah, for being one of the best hosts ever, along with all the rest of the staff, for so kindly always paying attention to detail in order to make me the most comfortable possible. It’s also quite easy to create friendships in between guests, as this friendly environment is promoted by the hotel owner. There are also many other activities available, such as bank sand excursion, snorkeling with turtles, dolphin watching, etc. The staff kindly provides all the necessary informations to the guests.

Fantastic hotel, recommend it 100% to everyone. The moment I booked, Shiyam (the owner of the hotel) whatsapped me and helped me coordinate the speedboats (60 USD each way, less than 2h) + sent me a catalogue with all the activities (whale shark encounter, manta ray, etc) and the whole trip prepation was very smooth and easy. Once I arrived to the island they picked me up from the port and transferred to the hotel and was received by Anoof - a great guy - who gave me a coconut as a welcome drink. The property is small, 7-8 rooms aprox and very well taken care off. It was inaugurated in November 2024 and everything is very new and clean. The room was very spacious, AC was working perfectly, super clean and comfortable bed and a very modern bathroom and shower. Wifi was working perfectly from both the room and the restaurant. The hotel is a at a walking distance from the beaches and the "main street" of the island which has some souvenir stores and tiny supermarket. The hotel offers bikes for free and you can rent mopeds. Hotel provides towels you can take to the beach of for excursions. The whole island is 3km long and you can easily walk from the hotel to the very end of the island in about 45min-1h. This walk has the most beautiful beach you will ever see. One of the best islands I've ever been to. Breakfast is included with the room and offers both a local option and international. Quality is really good. Take into account everything in Maldives, specially in tiny islands, is imported so finding basic things such as eggs or fresh vegetables is neither easy nor cheap, however this hotel offers good products. The food from the restaurant is also quite good. The Maldivian curry and the rice with Tuna were delicious. Finally, excursions have very decent prices. Whale shark 90 USD (compared to the 500 USD that resorts charge, and it is the same sea and animals), Manta Ray (60 USD), etc. If I am ever back in Dhigurah I will certainly stay here

Food was better than I expected. The retreat also exceeded my expectations with service and cleanliness. I do not think there is anything that I did not like. Being able to mix with the locals made it an amazing experience.

The owners of this small accommodation are very friendly and helpful. The days were filled with various little surprises. While many resorts may be lavish and expensive, Mandhoo Island offers an original experience of Maldivian life! Highly recommend to anyone looking for something authentic and unique.

From the start everything was super, communication with people before we traveled, they organised transfer for us, greeted us with nice refreshing drinks and gave us all useful information. We had room on the ground floor that looked at the bikini beach and sea. On the white sandy beach we had beach beds and table and chairs. Now about the sea (well ocean)…crystal clear water and part where you can swim and house reef where you can snorkel and see amazing colourful fish. Staff was amazing (I am terrible with names), but every single member of staff was friendly and polite, from our waiter, Sri Lankan chef, hotel manager…everyone. They organised trips for us. Out of many different trips we chose 3. We had Dolphin Safari where we saw 100’s of dolphins and took amazing photos and videos. Then we had snorkelling trip to see turtles and again we took some great pics and videos. Our guide even took my GoPro and filmed us swimming with turtles. Unforgettable experience! We also had Night Fishing trip, where we caught many fishes, like tuna, barracuda, red snapper etc. Then they prepared most amazing beach dinner with our catch. In the restaurant you have a choice between continental breakfast and local one (many times we had both of them). Also you can eat pancakes with various toppings and there was always cold juice and water. For dinner you have different choices, like various soups to start with, then various curries, rice and noodle dishes, fish, various ways of chicken, pizzas, burgers…and desert at the end. We were very happy with food. I can highly recommend Belmars Beach and will definitely come back at some point, as we had a brilliant time there.

Thanks to Mippo we had the most wonderful trip to see four mantas together! Accomodation is really nice, comfortable beds, everything was clean. :)

The garden and its caretaker Nirmal. I would like to state that Nirmals treat was the key to our relaxing stay. He anticipated all our needs, I never been talking care of so well before.

We had an amazing stay. The whole team of dive and sleep made everything easy. The room was great, with a lot of space, nice bathroom and also an outside space where we could sit in the night or let our wet clothes dry. The food was delicious, they prepared us breakfast, lunch and dinner every day with fresh ingredients and delicious fish. The dive experience was everything we could hope for and they made it very easy, with great preparation. We saw whalesharks, turtles, mantas, sting rays, white tip sharks, grey reef and many more and everything went smooth! The whole team was very nice and helpful at all times. The island itself is a little paradise. I can 100% recommend it!

I had the most incredible birthday at Bageecha Stay! The rooms were absolutely spotless, with a lovely fresh scent and everything feeling brand new. One of the best parts is the ability to choose between local Maldivian dishes or European cuisine, ensuring there’s something for everyone. The island is the perfect size for exploring, with clean beaches and stunning ocean views. The view from my room was breathtaking, with the ocean stretching out right before my eyes. The highlight of my stay was taking a boat trip to a deserted island, which turned out to be the most unforgettable experience. It was peaceful, beautiful, and truly magical – a once-in-a-lifetime moment! For those who love to explore, the resort offers bicycles that you can take and ride around the island. It’s a fun and relaxing way to see every corner of this beautiful place. Everything at Bageecha Stay is designed with attention to detail. The rooms were cleaned regularly, ensuring everything stayed fresh and pristine. They even have special branded beach towels, which was a lovely touch and added to the luxurious feel of the stay. Another unique feature of the resort is the sight of planes taking off – a fascinating experience that makes for amazing photos! The transfer from the airport was very comfortable – we were greeted upon arrival, and everything was handled smoothly. Thank you, Bageecha Stay, for an unforgettable birthday! We had an amazing experience. The staff helped us to book the flights from Male to Dharavandhoo and the speedboat back. More than that we got more help that we could ask for because we forgot some things at the hotel and they managed to send them back to us before our flight to Europe. Everyone was incredibly kind with us ❤️ the room was great and we definitely recommend the ones facing the beach! They also organised trips everyday! We believed that the prices are more than good for the overall experience in Chak'z 1964.

Thanks to SunnySide guesthouse and Mr.Ahmed personally! Great stuff, friendly attitude. Bikes and snorkeling mask were given for free. Breakfast and dinner both fine, big portions and no repeats in 4 days. Fresh juices and fruits accompanied every meal. Currency exchange, boat booking - supported with no issues👌 Highly recommended 👍
