Hotels in the Maldives

I was very curious about this island and Rettehin inn Hotel, since I had read lots of reviews about different places and this hotel has many good reviews and those are mostly about emotions and happy time in Rakedhoo. And I understood why everyone wrote that they were happy in Rattehin. From the first day of arrival, I felt comfortable and part of something really didifferent. I took snorkeling and fishing in the very first day. These excursions were such a great and funny adventures, that I had decided to go next day too for fishing. The remarkable thing about fishing at night was that we had a dinner all together with all friends, staff and other tourists. Moreover, I have never tried such a freshiest fish. Other excursions were even more exciting. I took an "Adventure trip", fully trusting of what they prepares for me. And that was one of the best days in my life, for real. I saw dolphins, around 50 jumping dolphins, They prepared tasty lunch on inhabitant island and after that we did snorkeling in two different places: one was so deep area near home island(we were searching a shark and saw one reef shark), and the second place was a unique island with a reef straight near island, I could just stand in the water and watch what's going on there, all those colorful fish, baby shark, corals, beauty. And in the evening they took me to fishing as a friend. The hotel itself is great. They think about every detail, every corner, every place gas something beautiful: like under each tree some decoration or comfortable place to sit and relax. Also they pet some birds, and baby turtle, they are too cute. After they grow up, they said they will release them, because they will become stronge enough. Home beach is clean, with crystal light blue water and white sand. The beach right in the hotel itself, like 30 seconds walk from room. I will miss a lot Rakedhoo, especially people there. A new guesthouse—clean, tidy, and completely insect-free. The rooms have everything you need, and the property is well-maintained and pleasant. There’s a fully equipped kitchen where guests can use everything, including a constant supply of cold drinking water. A washing machine is also available. The internet is excellent! Both of us worked from our room via Wi-Fi without any issues. Housekeeping was outstanding! The breakfast was amazing—fresh fruits, juices, and, most importantly, delicious local dishes were included. Breakfast was served at a convenient time, making our mornings even better. The hosts are simply fantastic. During the rainy days, umbrellas immediately appeared in the house for all guests. They were incredibly attentive and responsive, providing us with snorkeling fins and anything else we needed. Their generosity was truly heartwarming. And a special thank you for making our celebration unforgettable! My husband and I share the same birthday, and the hosts surprised us with something truly special. March 7, 2025, will forever remain in our hearts, just like these wonderful people. Thank you, Thoodoo! Thank you, Rangali! A huge thanks to the hosts and staff for an incredible stay. You are in our hearts! This trip felt like a true piece of the Maldivian soul. Highly recommended!

Really nice and comfortable place. Staff are very attentive and helpful in any situation. Room was equipped with all kinds of tools you need. Coffee and tea are always available at the lobby/garden.

A great place for a long stay on Thoddoo. Here are some of the pros of Hudhufas Villa: - Excellent location: 5 min’ walk to the sunrise beach, 10-15 min to the sunset beach. Most shops and restaurants are within 1-8 min. - Nice, bright, and clean rooms. Special mention for the comfortable mattresses and pillows, as well as the quiet night mode of the air conditioner (which is not always the case). - Daily cleaning and regular linen changes. - The villa itself is very pleasant, with a garden full of various plants, common areas both indoors and outdoors (on the first floor and on the terrace). It's worth noting that the guesthouse has only four rooms, so it won’t be crowded. - Convenient facilities for preparing meals: in addition to small refrigerators in the rooms, there is a large shared refrigerator with a freezer, a kettle, a toaster, a stove, and all necessary tableware. - We had a stay with breakfast included - and it was hearty and delicious. Three breakfast options, all very tasty. There are always some fruits available at the breakfast. - The villa has four bicycles available for use. - Many thanks to the owner, Shifau, who always was very nice and helpful, and fully dedicated to his work.

We had an amazing stay - everything was just perfect! Communication before and during the trip was great. We were greeted at the port when we arrived, and on our last day, they even helped us board the speedboat back. The room was super clean and had everything we needed. The Wi-Fi was fast, and the buffet breakfast was really tasty with lots of choices. Huge thanks to Anoof and Waruna for being so kind and helpful throughout our stay!

Very nice and quiet location. The best local island experience. The host is very friendly and provides all the information you need. Many options for day trips and activities in reasonable prices.

I like the entire boutique and the staff was very nice as well.

We had an amazing stay. The whole team of dive and sleep made everything easy. The room was great, with a lot of space, nice bathroom and also an outside space where we could sit in the night or let our wet clothes dry. The food was delicious, they prepared us breakfast, lunch and dinner every day with fresh ingredients and delicious fish. The dive experience was everything we could hope for and they made it very easy, with great preparation. We saw whalesharks, turtles, mantas, sting rays, white tip sharks, grey reef and many more and everything went smooth! The whole team was very nice and helpful at all times. The island itself is a little paradise. I can 100% recommend it!

The overall set up, the rooms, the cosy restaurant, the exceptional activities, and above all the staff attitude and approach. Fernando, Serena, Dhahu, Shabeen, Inkey, and all other dearest people that put their hearts and souls into serving us and making our stay unforgetable! And the best housekeeper ever!

nice combination of location, design, simplicity supported by a price. I really was surprised to have a good stay not in a resort on Maldives. I got comfy mattress, caring and supportive staff, diving center and good reef close by - overall a very good place for a long staycation.

Everything, the owner and staff are all soo friendly and welcoming

We only spent one night on the island, but everyone was very helpful and friendly. I can only recommend!
