Hotels in the Maldives

We just came back home and wondering from where to start this review. Rattehi Inn at Rakeedhoo absolutely went above all our expectations. New hotel with best staff and management who treat you like a family member. Hotel manager Niya lives the hospitality and will accommodate every request you ask. I hope we were not too demanding but literally what we asked it happened, from the tours off the island, special celebrations, additional dining options, everything. Menu in the restaurant is not long at the moment since they just started but we heard about plans to extend it a bit. Nevertheless, all meals prepared by the chef were wonderful. Buffet breakfast great as well every morning. Waiters Daminder and Eric and Houskeeper Baboo are kindest people we met, hard workers but always with sincere smile. Island by itself is the smallest inhabited in all Maldives, however there are a lot of options around and we are already making plans when we come back what to do. For the end if you are checking pictures of other islands, reading experiences of other people about Maldives or having any doubts just stop, nothing can be compared what Niya and his team can do here to make your vacation wonderful and make you sad on departure day, but with strong wish to come back again. I have never filing like I am at home like in Ranglavi. Owners are so helpfull and full of love to their guests. Room and bathroom are clean and comfortable. We were so happy with them on Thoddoo. Beautiful place and we look forword to come back to the same place, guest house RANGLAVI. Thank you so much for everything you do for us. Your papaya and mango are the best I have ever eat. See you next year on the same place.

Really nice and comfortable place. Staff are very attentive and helpful in any situation. Room was equipped with all kinds of tools you need. Coffee and tea are always available at the lobby/garden.

Mr Shifau and his team are truly amazing! The breakfast is good, great location and everything is well taken care of during my stay.

Amazing service, such a new hotel, the staff truly went above & beyond!! Transferring me around when I needed to get places on time, even lending me their own iPhone cord when I lost mine & their laptop when mine broke 🤣🥹🫶 such kind lovely people, and wow such a delicious breakfast too! I have had a wonderful stay at dive and sleep guesthouse. Middho and his staff are amazing, really kind and are trying to make the most out of your vacation! I have seen a lot while diving and the underwater world was magical. If you are coming to the Maledives to dive and take some time of this place is perfect for you. The island is really small, so don’t expect other tourist or shops, but this was something i liked! The rooms are pretty, really clean and the bed was really nice and big! I could definitely recommend this location to others!

We recently had a pleasure of staying at Isla Retreat and we were truly impressed by the attention to detail throughout the property. It was clear that the owners have thoughtfully considered every aspect of guest comfort. The room was equipped with everything that each guest might need – from a small refrigerator and air conditioning to high-quality toilet articles. We were also pleasantly surprised to find yoga mats and a beach bag, which showed how much they care about catering to a variety of guest needs. We cannot mention enough how comfortable the bed was! The room itself was spacious, clean and beautifully designed, offering a great balance of comfort and style. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The check-in process was smooth, and we even got a small excursion of the island. Another great feature was the cleanliness. The room was cleaned twice a day, which kept everything fresh and tidy during our stay. The food was delicious and well-prepared, though we would suggest expanding the menu a bit for more variety, especially for longer stays. That said, every meal we had was flavorful and satisfying. The Bikini Beach on the island was quiet and secluded, making it a great spot for a peaceful getaway. The calm atmosphere and beautiful views made it a perfect place to relax. A big thank you to the wonderful staff (Aku, Putu, Ismail, and all the other guys whose names we didn't catch) for making our stay so enjoyable. Your warmth and attention to detail truly made a difference, and we look forward to returning!

It's a small new cozy Gest with spacious rooms. Gesthaus is located near the Beach. The soul of this Gesta is AhmedKhali, his concern is felt at every stage of stay. It helps to solve the issues related to the stay on the island - whether it is excursions, transfer or bbq from fresh fish. I definitely recommend to visit.
