Absolutely loved my stay at Rathehi Inn Maldives! The owener Ratta and the manager of the resort Niya were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. The whole team went above and beyond to ensure I had an amazing time, which was especially appreciated as a solo traveller. The staff is just amazing, waiters are always smiling, and we're helpful in every segment, from helping me to choose a variety of food to small chats, rooms was disrectly cleaned every morning when I had breakfast, returning back, everything was tidy and cleaned with lovely fragrance, staff were cleaning resort every day, including beach, chefs really delivered delicious food... The location was perfect for adventure-seekers like me, and the trip to the deserted island was a highlight of my stay. The food was delicious, and the attention to detail in every aspect of my stay was impressive. Resort offers a variety of adventures such as snorkelling, night fishing, sand bank trips , and dolphin cruise, which i found so amazing. The prices are really affordable, and I'm definitely considering returning back. The words really don't do justice to describe this amazing island and people who live there. I have been introduced to the president of the island and two lovely nurses who work there, also locals who are really friendly and share their experience of living there with joy and pride and lovely tourist couple when the owener Ratta arranged lovely tea party for guests where we all got introduced to local cousin and customs. Manager Niya is incredible and always available for any queries, and it always reminds everyone to keep smiling. This was just a truly amazing experience, and I miss this place already, beach is beautiful with white sand surrounded but turquoise sea, it offers privacy and peace. If you're looking for a welcoming and adventurous getaway, Rathehi Inn Maldives is definitely worth considering.

A new guesthouse—clean, tidy, and completely insect-free. The rooms have everything you need, and the property is well-maintained and pleasant. There’s a fully equipped kitchen where guests can use everything, including a constant supply of cold drinking water. A washing machine is also available. The internet is excellent! Both of us worked from our room via Wi-Fi without any issues. Housekeeping was outstanding! The breakfast was amazing—fresh fruits, juices, and, most importantly, delicious local dishes were included. Breakfast was served at a convenient time, making our mornings even better. The hosts are simply fantastic. During the rainy days, umbrellas immediately appeared in the house for all guests. They were incredibly attentive and responsive, providing us with snorkeling fins and anything else we needed. Their generosity was truly heartwarming. And a special thank you for making our celebration unforgettable! My husband and I share the same birthday, and the hosts surprised us with something truly special. March 7, 2025, will forever remain in our hearts, just like these wonderful people. Thank you, Thoodoo! Thank you, Rangali! A huge thanks to the hosts and staff for an incredible stay. You are in our hearts! This trip felt like a true piece of the Maldivian soul. Highly recommended!

The property is nested in pristine jungle a bit further away from the busy streets and closer to the beach area. There’s a bit of construction happening outside, which does not interfere with you having a great time. The hotel is being run by a highly friendly hospitable family with all the members taking part in looking after you - they are cooking, cleaning, showing you round the island, arranging tours for you, speed boats if you want to explore other places, everyone speaks perfect English. The rooms are clean, spacious and well decorated. There is a no plastic policy in the hotel, which also makes it environmentally friendly. Tea, coffee and breakfast are available in a comfortable lobby area. You can also rent bikes (including bikes with child seats). The staff are very friendly with the kids as well, i could even sometimes leave my son with them while working, which was extremely convenient. The wifi connection allowed me to hold multiple zoom sessions. All in all, i highly recommend this place to everyone who wants to explore this beautiful welcoming island!

The apartment is located a 15-min walk from a beautiful sunset beach. The Maldivian breakfasts were absolutely delicious, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. The apartment was clean and in good condition.

Very clean hotel, the room was cleaned every day. Very nice and helpful staff that made us feel like home. They organized everything (trips, speedboat from and to the airport). Hotel is new, well furnished. We would stay here again.

Everything was amazing starting from the hotel ending with the staff. Especially Janith, he was there for us every single step of the way. He went out of his way to care for us. This is probably the best resort in Fulhadhoo. My wife was pregnant and they went above and beyond to make she had what she needed. At one point I even felt overpampered lol. We had a romantic dinner on the beach and the whole staff came to make that a special event for us. We did the dolphin thing with them too. Saw the dolphins. Everything was impeccably arranged.

After reading a lot of reviews and being unsure where is the best option to go in the Maldives, we decided to book the experience pack in Ecoboo and it was the best decision we made! The place blends in with the nature of the island very quiet and simple; giving you very nice memories to remember back home The whole staff is cooperative and very welcoming starting from the manager Mr. Hugo to the room service wich is done twice a day. All the trips we did everyday were very exciting ; swimming with the nurse sharks, sand bank island, ship wrack, fishing and dolphins watching so many good memories for us as a family. Our youngest baby Orwa/ 2 years, was able to snorkel with us and see many fishs and even nurse sharks! He was so excited about this experience same as his sisters. For us this was the highlight of all the trips to be able to swim all together as a family Here I want to send a special thanx to Sirina and Shabeen, who where responsible for the trips, for making it possible for us as a family with baby and 2 children to swim all together very safely, for being always caring and ready to help as if they were a family member and this is exactly what you get at the Ecoboo boutique hotel. Food could have been more variable especially the fruits since we are on a tropical island but still it was delicious and that’s what matters most ;)

The rooms are just as beautiful as shown in pictures and also provide a yoga mat and a beach bag. The whole building feels really spacious, bright and open and has its own Bikini beach area right in front, where you can just hang out or go snorkeling or stand up paddling. You get daily updates about weather, tides and activities. Even if the island is really remote and luckily not touristy, you can pretty much do any activity like snorkeling trips, fishing trips, dolphin cruise etc, all carefully prepared and done by the owner Ismail himself. On top of that there were complimentary activities done by Ismail such as house reef snorkeling and short thematic walks, so you could truly get to know the island and Maldivian culture. The island itself is also just super beautiful. With only a small village, half of the island is pretty green jungle and the bikini beach area spans across a wide part of the island. You cannot walk all around the isla nd, which makes it perfect to have nice little isolated beach areas to yourself. Also the house reef of the island is amazing with so many different fish - it’s just a dream for snorkeling. If you are lucky you can even see Manta rays right from the beach or from the SUP. What really makes this place special is the people who go above and beyond so that you can have your perfect holiday - from fresh coconut right from the tree or amazing chai tea, to organizing trips that are not regularly offered. If you have any questions or need anything, you can always reach out to the wonderful team and everybody will be warm and welcoming. First of all, I highly recommend you read it until the end. An excellent facility on a small and quiet local island full of underwater riches. As soon as you put your feet into the water at the tourist beach, you are surrounded by dozens of different species of fish, but swimming with the fish seen on Youtube is a priceless experience. Mr. Ahmad, the owner of the hotel, is a very polite and helpful person. He is very professional in making all the necessary arrangements for you when you arrive from the capital to the island, in welcoming you at the entrance and when you leave the island. If you want to participate in off-island activities, they will help you as much as they can. You have breakfast as an open buffet at the best restaurant on the island. You should definitely try the product made especially from fresh tuna. Among the 4 hotels I stayed in on 4 different islands during my Maldives trip, this was definitely the newest, cleanest and cheapest. I can guarantee that you will feel at home in this hotel. I would also like to consider that restaurants, off-island activities, and many other things on the island are cheaper than on many tourist islands. Also; Mahibadhoo may not be the best island in the Maldives, but it is a fact that there are better ones in terms of nature and tourism. But if you really want to relax in a quiet environment, this quiet and tiny island located in the natural wonder South Ari Atoll is definitely one of the best local islands you can find. Never mind that the tourist beach is smaller than some, because there are only a few people on the beach at most, so the beach is yours! I definitely recommend splitting your Maldives holiday across more than one island, as I did, and devoting at least some of it to this island and this hotel.

Having traveled extensively across the Maldives, I can confidently say that Bageecha Stay is the best guesthouse I have ever experienced. I can honestly say it was some of the best food I’ve had in the Maldives, and I looked forward to every meal during my stay. The guesthouse itself was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, offering a perfect balance of modern amenities and local charm. Its location on Dharavandhoo is ideal for exploring the stunning beauty of Baa Atoll, from its pristine beaches to the incredible underwater world of Hanifaru Bay. Bageecha Stay is a shining example of what guesthouses in the Maldives should strive to be. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic, warm, and unforgettable Maldivian experience.
