It an excellent idea and the conversion has been well done. Staff was super friendly and made some very nice cakes. Great view of airport and the folder explaining the instruments in the flight deck is a very nice touch. Im very happy I travelled to stay here, it was a memorable experience.

We took a brief stop on our road trip in this small town. The room is not just a room. We were really surprised that the whole defense tower is our room! The interior is modern and comfortable with the castle view. As this is a defense tower, there are many windows around the room. So you can enjoy 360°c view from the room. Fantastic. Breakfast would be delivered in the morning and we had breakfast inside the room.

This is an exceptional hotel in a former church which has been transformed by the owners in a perfect hotel. It is very stylish and you can feel that the owners live their dream. Rooms are very nice integrated into the architecture of the church and offer all comfort. Breakfast is delicious and once again you can feel the passion of the owners as all is prepared and served in a unique way. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Henke and Annemarie’s hospitality was outstanding, the best we’ve experienced! B&B Hotel Malts is right in the heart of Haarlem (yet a quick bus trip to from Schiphol Airport), it’s beautifully decorated - we loved coming “home” after a day’s activities fuelled by a generous, freshly cooked Dutch breakfast. We couldn’t recommend this accommodation more highly.

Landhuis Hotel de Hilkensberg was absolutely excellent—one of the highlights of our trip. The estate is stunningly green and peaceful, with a natural swimming pool and charming animal residents, including a super-friendly chicken, and hungry alpacas you can feed. The breakfast was amazing, and the evening snacks were just as impressive. The food overall was fantastic, and the atmosphere incredibly relaxing. The team was welcoming and very accommodating. A beautiful, restful escape—wish we could’ve stayed longer!
