But perhaps the highlight of our stay was the food. We couldn't believe the amazing dishes that were served up to us. Every meal was a culinary adventure, with fresh, local ingredients and creative presentation. It was clear that the chef had a real passion for food. It is like an oasis! Definitely a place to stay if you visit Ocean Road. We were one of those oldest houses on the island and it was really comfy and beautiful. There is an excellent restaurant on the island and a Viking ship museum. Quiet place to relax and kids found this place adorable. And free parking near the harbor, to go free boat to the island.

It has Norway’s best breakfast with everything you may wish, and fantastic service. For extra luxury, enjoy a wonderful 4-course dinner prepared by some of our best chefs, followed by a drink and coffee in the garden. We stayed in one of the modern rooms, which has plenty of space and a nice porch on the lawn to enjoy the morning sun. This is a must see for everyone who just want to relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape. It’s not cheap, but it’s with it.
