It was just beautifully presented. A very special stay for Christmas.

Everything was perfect! Staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The complimentary cake slices were soooo delicious! The hotel was so cosy in general and the attention to detail was great!

Everything. Beautiful quaint charm, lovely designed lodge, peaceful location, incredible service and hospitality. The onsite chef is devine and the nicest person. The spa massage was one of the best I’ve had. The owner shared about his culture, family, special meaning of the property and even tribal wine. All in all if I could give this property a 20 out of 10 I would!

Everything!!! Privately owned boutique hotel which is 100% class, just like the owners. The service was outstanding, the room was outstanding, everything was outstanding.

Very friendly reception, the chalet was really nice, clean and well suited our needs. Location is great - short walk to town. Wi-Fi signal was very strong

Beautiful entrance, staff were exceptional and very welcoming. They were proud of the Hotel with a tour AND a very nice welcome drink! Plenty of parking, very very comfortable beds and well allocated rooms.

The room was immaculate and comfy. I highly recommend it for a weekend stay in New Plymouth. The location of the hotel is perfect. A short distance to the main attractions of New Plymouth is precious. I will stay here again.

It was perfect as last location of our whole trip. We have stayed there for two nights befor our return flight home. We have immediately felt home and cosy. Jackie and Steve are extraordinary hosts - thank you so much! The room was wonderful, comfortable and spacious. The location right in the middle of everything and directly at the old tramway is perfect. The breakfast together with others guests was awesome and delicious. Thank you so much! We loved it!

The apartments are well equipped and are clean and very comfortable.

The retreat was very well laid out , quiet and many luxuries. Only stayed 1 night so couldn’t make use of the pool. But otherwise the bed was comfortable. Breakfast amazing especially to have it in a church.

Beautiful decor and appreciated the blend of heritage and modern. View from room amazing. Great in room facilities very considered choices. Nothing was a problem to staff. I was travelling with an injury and staff went over and above to make my staff comfortable. Restaurant amazing!!!
