The camp is located inside the desert and requires a 4x4 to access. The site is magical and the tents are luxurious and well appointed. The experiences are also very apt and engaging - dune bashing, camel rides and gazing at starry skies while listening to the owner tell you stories of life in Oman. The staff was also extremely helpful. Overall a night that will be etched in our memories for ever.

Really enjoyable stay. Perfectly located in the heart of quiet village of Taqah. Staff were exceptional and make sure you feel welcome, gave me a tour of the house which also doubles as a museum during the day. Coffee shop right next door where you can socialise with the locals. When I come back to Oman I will definitely stay again.

Up there with one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautiful grounds featuring gardens, several pools, sports facilities and plenty of relaxing areas. The gym is phenomenal and I only wish I had brought my workout gear. What truly set this stay apart was the staff. We were celebrating a special occasion and the room was beautifully decorated with balloons, rose petals and a delicious chocolate cake waiting for us. A special mention to Sanjay who checked us in so warmly at reception and to Kay and Reham who looked after us so well during dinner. Also a big thank you to Joven and Jamira for their kindness. And to Nancy also! The amazing staff alone would make us want to return to Muscat just to stay at this hotel again.

The hospitality was exceptional, and we appreciated the room upgrade, which made our stay even more special.

Nice hotel, we spent there 2 nights on our travel across Oman. It is expected 3 star hotel. The staff is helpful, breakfast is ordinary. The room was a bit dark, but we were there only to sleep, it was ok.

New and very comfortable hotel close to the airport. All amenities, the rooms and beds were great. The highlight was the staff though, who took the utmost care of me and made sure I was well looked after. Shout-out to Victor who did a great breakfast service every morning. Since the hotel was not too busy, there was no breakfast buffet but individual dishes prepared - really good! There is not too much to do in close proximity to the hotel, so I'd definitely recommend renting a car when staying here as you'll need to do some driving to get around.

New hotel located in a quiet place, nicely decorated. The room and the entire hotel are clean. I stayed 1 night in October with my wife and my 3-year-old daughter. Staff is very nice and polite, especially the woman in charge of the restaurant during our breakfast. Even though I am demanding regarding breakfast, I have to admit that this breakfast was a real pleasure...everything was fresh (juice, coffee, fruits...) and delicious. I highly recommend this hotel
