We loved everything! The hotel itself, the sitting spaces in the garden, the restaurant was amazing, the food was great, the staff were excellent. The room was beautiful!!! It was a great experience all around! Highly recommend!!

We enjoyed very much our stay in this lodge. The place was really nice and well-furnished. The family was also very kind and helped us to get on a few tours to see a few islands around. The logistics, checking in and out, were made easy for us. Highly recommended.

Incredible location with view at the falls. If lucky even from your bed. Rooms are spacious, hot showers really hot. Very friendly couple runs the place, they serve a tasty breakfast.

The property in the sacred valley is stunning! We spent 3 nights there! We could easily have spent a week. Roger is an amazing host!

The lodge is really beautiful. You have amazing views and everything is clean and modern. The staff is so warming and caring. They cook amazing lunch and dinner. Breakfast was also one of the best we had in all our accommodations in Peru.

Location is spectacular - a peaceful oasis in the Sacred Valley. Luis and Silvia are amazing hosts - they make you feel like you’re at home. Service is impeccable and food (both breakfast and dinner) is delicious (some of the best we had in Peru!). Last but not least - there are alpacas! Best hotel in Peru!

I stayed in the wooden house one night before and one night after my trek to Choquequirao and it was perfect! The room was great, and the bed was comfy and warm. There was a warm shower and the breakfast was good - lots of eggs with bread and jam - at flexible times. The host, Elizabeth, went above and beyond making sure I was comfortable and answering my questions even before I arrived. On the way to Cachora she personally came to pick me up from Ramal de Cachora, and on the way back managed to coordinate three taxis for me to get back to Cusco during a national strike. Thank you!

In fact, the facilities here surpass those of many good hotels in Lima and Cuzco. I wholeheartedly recommend this place, and I'm already eagerly anticipating my next visit to experience the wonders of Rainbow Mountain and the charm of Cuzco. This is truly a remarkable destination that offers both comfort and convenience.

After 4 weeks travelling around Peru we came to El Samay and it was just perfect. From the warm welcome from Marianne when we arrived to the moment we left it was the best way to spend 4 nights of peace and quiet in the most beautiful setting. The staff were all fantastic, Veronica was on the end of whatsap should we need any help with absolutely anything and we were very sad to leave this morning. The area is super peaceful - perfect to unwind, swim in the sea and the beautifully clean pool and to just sit on our balcony watching humpback whales ( I saw 7 in three days - keep your eyes peeled ) was magical. The food was great , being brought a 7.30am coffee each morning was such a treat and I would definitely stay here again. Thanks again for a wonderful few days.

The place is beautiful, they take care of the plants very well and the staff is very helpful. Coffee was great.
