Guest reviewAll the hotel staff were exceptional, very helpful and friendly. A beautiful hotel with great facilities, very clean, and best breakfast we’ve had so far. They even accommodated us to have a very late check out and organised a taxi for us to take us to the night bus. 100% would come back here, if for the service alone.

Guest reviewThis property is a true gem. The room was beautiful, simple, clean, and comfortable, with truly the most incredible view of the Gocta waterfall. It was quiet and peaceful, set apart from other hotels, but within an easy walk to Cocachimba. The food was amazing, and they gave us different options to choose from each day. Watching hummingbirds flit around while drinking coffee and looking out at the waterfall each morning was a highlight of our time in Peru. We have nothing but positive things to say!

Guest reviewThe place really gives you a welcoming and homely feeling and the food in the restaurant was honestly some of the best we had in Peru! The staff is extremely kind, professional and attentive. Special greetings to Hugo. You can really sense in every detail that the owners have fulfilled their dream here. Our room was spacious, well-equipped, and honestly spotless. All organized trips and transfers fully met our expectations. They've also prepared a nice snack-box for our trip to Machu Picchu. Don’t miss the evenings by the campfire with the owner – he shares valuable insider tips and interesting tales & stories about the region. We truly fell in love with this place (and the alpacas!) and will be happy to return on our next trip to Peru. We wish the hosts Louis and Silvia all the best for the future.

Guest reviewAfter 4 weeks travelling around Peru we came to El Samay and it was just perfect. From the warm welcome from Marianne when we arrived to the moment we left it was the best way to spend 4 nights of peace and quiet in the most beautiful setting. The staff were all fantastic, Veronica was on the end of whatsap should we need any help with absolutely anything and we were very sad to leave this morning. The area is super peaceful - perfect to unwind, swim in the sea and the beautifully clean pool and to just sit on our balcony watching humpback whales ( I saw 7 in three days - keep your eyes peeled ) was magical. The food was great , being brought a 7.30am coffee each morning was such a treat and I would definitely stay here again. Thanks again for a wonderful few days.
