Nice place with a great infinity pool and sauna, beautyful sunsets, 24/7 working pool, bar. Alex, the owner, is a great guy, who helped us a with travel tips and logistics a lot. He is always at the place, always with a big smile and ready to help, answer your question or just chat. Sauna was a big surprise for us. it’s looks kinda strange to go to the sauna in Philippines where is always hot, but you will be surprised how pleasant it is after an active day exploring surroundins. Hope one day we will come back to Surigao Dream!

We really enjoyed this accommodation. Casa Basa is new and very nice and stylish. Everything is clean. The location is calm, so when you want to rest a little bit from the night life in General Luna, that’s the place. Also the food was very good there, we liked their breakfasts and coffee. Owner Ralf and his family are so nice and helpful, we were feeling really good here, they are so warm, kind and hospitable. They help us a lot with our traveling trough the island. Everything was perfect highly recommended!

Staff are pro's and make everything a tailored experience. Loved to give them decent tip. Well deserved. We will be returning very soon. The chefs are excellent! Rooms are big and spacious. Really appreciated the welcome drinks, the attentiveness of staff and the board games are superb!!! In fact I hope theres more board games as it was really great to play with family. Table tennis is a great addition. The view.

My opinion is that it is really the best hotel on the island Carabao. It is located just on the beach. It looks like a big villa. The owner of this house is David, who always is very funny and makes a lot of jokes, who can help, recommend or organize your trip around all island. All rooms there are small but nice and comfortable. The personal is very modest, quite and nice. The hotel has a big lawn with an exit to the beach, two small pavilions with tables and chairs, 2 sofa - beds where personal can put a linen, also it has a small bar where you can order some drinks or fruits like an appetize. The sea is clean and it has a big coral where you can swim with masks and flippers. Also the hotel can give you swimming board or acvashoes for free. I really recommend you this hotel if you want to relax and see all beauties of the Carabao. It is very atmosphere place!

Positives: Friendly and helpful staff, Room is spacious and clean , you can rent scooter directly at the hotel, close to Cambugahay falls, nice breakfast, they have a contact of masseur that comes to the hotel, there is a laundry place super close to hotel and its closer from Salagdoong Beach (vs San Juan or Siquijor) AND the swimming pool is great! So, a lot of positives! The only point of attention is that there are few good options of restaurants near the hotel, so you will need to go to San Juan, which is 20-25 minutes by scooter. It was not a problem for me, but i think its good to mention.
