The food was a highlight - fresh, delicious, and healthy, a feast for both the eyes and the palate. Our room was spotless, clean, and very comfortable, complete with a spacious balcony offering a fantastic view over the lake. We had a wonderful experience and we can only recommend the Lodge for a perfect holiday.

It was so quiet and chilled and the food was excellent. The staff were really friendly as were the other guests….. slept like a log, glorious views from our cabin and there was plenty to do (if u wanted to)…, We did a lovely boat trip around the other islands and a fantastic bike mountain bike ride thru rural Rwanda. We even stopped at a school to meet the children and see them in their classrooms…

The service and staff were absolutely wonderful. Super easy to get to the hotel from the airport. They were accommodating - allowing me to check in 6 hours before check-in time. I had a wonderful breakfast. They custom-made my dinner and arranged for transport to and from the airport. I was also given a very thoughtful gift, which was lovely. Will certainly come back!
