Hotels in Slovenia

Very beautiful building, lobby, halls and furniture. The hotel is quite small and has a lot of cute details which makes it stand out from the other hotel chains around the city. Yet it feels very sophisticated and luxurious. The welcome was very nice and the staff were so lovely and knowledgeable. We came with dogs and even though a fee was charged they offered gift sets for our pups with treats, pads and bowls. Really sweet. The hotel is located in the pedestrian zone so no parking at the hotel. But there’s a parking nearby at around €25 per night. Otherwise the location of the hotel is great and close to everything worth seeing. Will definitely come again.

Spacious, new, clean and nicely equipped room.

The room was unbelievable with a huge window and automatic window shutters. The room was spotless. The view from the hotel was straight from a movie and the owners were very very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was luxurious. Definitely recommend. The saddest part was that we had to leave for another city for the next night, so we only spent one night here. Thank you for having us <3

Wow! What an amazing stay. The Castle is truly amazing and the staff made the stay that much better. We couldn't fault our stay. Thanks Tom for a lovely and accommodating stay. The beds were comfy and the breakfast and dinner were delicious (have the lamb!!)

It doesn't get any better than this! Special shout out to Greg who took such great care of me during my stay. They also have a tie up with Sixt car rental, and got me a great deal! If you truly want to experience luxury with a hint of intimacy and the best service in Ljubljana, look no further than Zlata Ladjica!

I travel a lot throughout the world and stay in anything from tribal huts in the middle of a jungle to 5-star hotels around the world. This place gets right on top of my stay-over experiences. The owners are beyond nice, the design is great, rooms are super comfortable and done to the highest standard. You basically stay in a 5-star hotel where you feel at home and pay a motel price. It's a pearl in the world of hospitality.

New, clean and fantastic facilities. Host was lovely. She was friendly, helpful and very thoughtful since we we're the only ones with kids they proactively helped.

Everything! We came by a car for a concert in Medvode which was only 15 min. drive from our stay. Beatufull location, quiet, parking is right in front of the building. The room had everything, carefully arranged furniture, super clean. Breakfast was spectacular, one of us even ordered the type of food they extremely hate and it was so good! When we came late after the concert, we were able to call the staff so they open the parking ramp for us. Everyone was really nice and we felt like home.

lt’s a second time we have been to Hiša Ančka. We love to come back. We feel like they caressed our souls after daily routine. The host is extremely kind, the service is above the level of expectations !- standard of the room, special unique amenities, the food delicious…The open buffet breakfast is a paradise for tasting home made Slovenian food. l highly recommend it, especially for skiing escape, spa relaxing or cycling around. We are definatelly coming back.
