Hotels on Sint Maarten

I like how lush and great views the resort has. The pools are great, and the hot tub is a big bonus for us. The sea is calm, the water is clear and it's great for swimming and snorkeling. There's plenty of things to do at the resort itself in case you don't want to venture out. The food is pretty decent, some actually taste.great, but don't expect anything like the all inclusive places in Cancun. There's not much option/variety, though for us is enough to go through our stays to taste most of them.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Nicely decorated, a large room with two comfortable double beds. We had a sea view room with a good-sized balcony overlooking the beach. The bathroom is big and well laid out. Staff was very friendly and accommodating and assisted us with wheelchair and car parking. Coffee and tea facilities in the room, daily supply and extra on request including mineral water. High quality toiletries. A free sunlounger, parasol and beach towel. A great lively bar and very good restaurant. Location right at the bay. A trustworthy taxi driver, Mathilde, who also does island tours. During the day the town is lively with all the tourists from the cruise ships but after 6.00 shops, restaurants and bars close with very few exceptions. To have an alternative for the hotel restaurant a taxi or car needs to be taken. In addition to the restaurant in the hotel, we can recommend Emilio's which is relatively close but not really walking distance.

We stayed here for 3 Nights, and absolutely loved it here. The receptionists are all very helpful and responsive, even allowing us to store our suitcases at reception when we arrived very early, and helping us to book a taxi to the airport on our departure day. Thanks ladies!! The rooms are spotlessly clean with fully equipped kitchens (even have an electric oven and big fridge freezer!) The AC is nice and cold, The beds are really comfy and the bathroom is really clean. They have toiletries available, and even provide a dark face cloth for removing your make-up. We had a nice balcony to sit out in the morning and have a coffee from the perfectly sized coffee maker. The Indian restaurant attached has amazing food, and they give a discount to hotel guests. There is a good supermarket right around the corner, a great beach and a couple bars just steps away, but the area is quiet enough to sleep well in the night, and we felt safe and secure walking back in the evening, and sleeping in the room. This will definitely be our hotel of choice when we return to SXM.

Very nice Hotel with very friendly hotel staff, always ready to help. Rooms are clean and cozy. Loved it! The breakfast is great as well: You get a voucher and can go downstairs to the bakery for a hot drink, a cold drink, pastry of your choice and a sandwich custom made to your choice. I always took half of my breakfast to the beach as a snack. I had a very nice time here, would book it again! To get around it's best to take the bus from the main road. That works without problems and it is just a 10 min walk to the bus stop.

location was absolute great! right on the beach between Philipsburg and Sympson Bay. Service was great and very friendly staff

Service was exceptional. As a female solo traveller I would say Sint Maarten is the place to go and Commodore Suites is the place to stay. Farida and the rest of the crew there were amazing. Best advice and so close to the beach ⛱️. Karaoke on Tuesday and Thursday at the Hilton nearby. On the main street for all types of food and experiences. To say I am coming back doesn't even say it all. The experience almost makes you want to get a remote job and live there. Free drinks mixed by Farida.....new mixes and real fun. TV had all the apps you needed on vacation for viewing fun. Comfy bed, great shower and the ability to wash and dry my clothes before coming back home was priceless. Missing something? There is a grocery with EVERYTHING right downstairs. Want a great view in a hot tub? Go upstairs. Want to eat out? Take a 2-5 minute walk. There is also delivery. My introduction to the country could not have been better.

The pool, bar, ocean and gym. Lots of food places around the area and supermarket too. It's close proximity to the airport and Maho beach.

Staff were always very friendly throughout the 2 weeks.
