The location was excellent in the old town. We were able to walk to several fabulous restaurants and to all of the sites in the old town part of Istanbul. Every member of the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. They genuinely cared about our stay and handled everything very well.

Before checking in, we consult about transportation options from the hotel to the airport via the message function on Booking.com, and they advised us on the best way. When I arrived at Selçuk Station, they kindly picked me up by car. Upon check-in, they served me fruits and drinks, warmly welcoming us. Later, they lent me a book in Japanese about the Ephesus ruins. When we mentioned that we didn’t have enough time to visit the Ephesus ruins, they graciously showed us around the nearby ruins and took us there before check-out. Finally, they drove me directly to Selçuk Station. It was a truly fulfilling stay.

This place makes you feel like you are in peace with the whole world. All perfectly balanced and extremely well managed. Only words of love and respect for the staff, which is kind, helpful, and professional. Everything was excellent: the room, the pool, the breakfast, the atmosphere. The hotel is within walking distance of major attractions like the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, with many shops and cafés lining the streets. The front office staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, even though we checked in around 2 AM. A special shoutout to Mr. Kadir, who reached out to me before my stay to generously upgrade my room to a larger one with a sea-view balcony—at no extra cost! During our stay, the hotel also surprised my husband and me with a lovely fruit plate, which we truly enjoyed. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Istanbul! ☺️

I stayed with a friend at Arif Cave hotel and it was a magical experience, we couldn't have asked for more, the staff made us feel at home. Ahmet and all the team treated us as if we were family visiting. The view from the terrace is incredible, we had a room with a balcony that we enjoyed very much. The breakfast is amazing too.... I already want to go back to Capadoccia and stay there again. Thank you Ahmet and the rest of the team. From Abby & Gloria.

Great and always present service, quality of villas and food

We absolutely loved our stay in DORUK PALAS. It's clean, comfortable, with amazingly attentive staff and super friendly cats. We were upgraded to a room with a view, which we can't thank enough for. Turkish breakfast they serve is a perfect start of the day and Cay is offered any time of the day, which was our favourite bit in the evening, after long walks in Istanbul. Rooms are on a smaller size but the lobby is large, cosy and welcoming, with the cats: Mr. Osman and Princess, keeping you company.

The hotel is fairly new. Only 3 months old when we were there. We compared with other "cave" hotels, this is the most modern one. The others for us were dark and somewhat "creepy". As expected Ayazma was the opposite of that. It gave us the heritage feel but with modern amenities. The hospitality is 10/10. The owner took the time to personally greeted us even though our check in was very late. He also helped with guiding us thru the must-sees in Kapadokya and also with balloon ride bookings. He booked us with Urgup Balloons; one of the best company which gave the best balloon ride experience. All and all we regret staying only 2 nights. Ayazma was the best.
