I have been to a number of hotels around Sultanahmet, but this is the best. Super friendly staff, spacious and modern room, free mini-bar. Truly outstanding from the lot.

This hotel was fantastic and we really enjoyed our stay. The family who runs the place were very kind and accommodating - we were on a cycle tour and they allowed us to store our bikes inside the property. The breakfast was big and delicious - one of the best we had during our time in Turkey, and the views from our rooms were stunning. It’s very close to the city Center (5 minute walk) but also just far enough removed that you don’t have to deal with noise. Would definitely recommend this place and will look forward to returning in the future.

AMAZING!!! Best customer service ever! The owner welcomed us with drinks and candy he and all the personnel were super nice and always asking us if everything was ok, during our stay they gave us little presents. The location is great! the room was pretty, clean, and comfortable. The terrace views are very nice.

Lovely room, lovely breakfast and, above all, lovely people. Enough to restore one's faith in humanity...

We loved everything about our stay!! We arrived early from the airport and Gökhan our host was waiting for us already, as the check in in the room is from 12h he upgraded us to a better room so that we could rest. Afterwards he waited for us to wake up and explained to us all the activities that can be done in capadocia, he let us think about them without pressuring us and finally we booked the hot air balloon tour wich was gorgeous, and Gokhan found it for the best price and he answered all our doubts, we also booked the green tour which we strongly recomend (you visit an underground civilzation with a guide and some other activities) and the shuttle bus with him as it was the same price if we booked it by ourselves. He also let us chek out late as our flight was late The room was lovely, clean and beautiful with great views, really spacious and warm. The views from the hotel are gorgeous. Breakfast is huge, you have some things as coffee toast and some other things buffet but also they make you omelette and some delicious turkish quesadillas. Capadocia is a beautiful place and i would recommend expending more than 2 days to visit all the nature and fairy chimenees that are scattered everywhere, I would recommend walking rather than kart as things are not that far away (just by 2 km you can see many fairy chimenees) and karts make lots of noise and spoil the beautiful background, also we were told by some locals that camels are not native to this place and warned us against going to walks with them. In conclusion it was a wonderful stay, thanks to all the hosts and specially Gökham that took so much care of us.

We loved the style and comfort of Akanthus Hotel- it was like a home... The staff were helpful, thoughtful and friendly. Our breakfasts were healthy and tasty. It was so peaceful and easy to access facilities in Selcuk.

What can we say, where can we start, Zedan we didnt get to bid you the final farewell in person as our taxi arrived early, but we wanted to extend our heartfelt thanks to you and your staff. We wish you so much joy and prosperity, We absolutely loved this beach hotel resort, the location is stunning, the views from every angle of the property were breathtaking, pool was fab, a buggy service to accommodate the steep hill, but staff always available to get you from top to bottom or vice versa in seconds, Zedan & Co were the perfect hosts, we felt very welcome and Zedan personally went above and beyond for breakfast as per our requests, all the staff around the resort were so friendly and so helpful, the guys at reception were so very pleasant and quick with any requests for fresh bedding/towels/toiletries, nothing was any trouble, truly a wonderful place to stay, we were sad to say goodbye, but will hopefully return one day I wish I could post all of out memories here for everyone too see

I had a wonderful time at the Dokus Palas. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms and entire hotel is spotless. The service second to none. I particularly liked the location, very close to the Galata Tower but not in the middle of it. Just a short walk away. Thank you Dokus Palas for a great experience in Istanbul and for all your help!

Wow wow wow, this place was awesome- an authentic cave hotel. The hotel owner was super helpful and kind, he handled everything which was so nice during our vacation. We took advantages of the tours and got great recommendations for restaurants in the surrounding towns. This was a great homebase for our time spent in Cappadocia and would recommend this hotel for anyone booking a trip here. The breakfast was amazing every morning and the facilities were the most comfortable. Such a cool experience.
