Great mix of old and new! The workmanship done to refurbish and rebuild this old castle into a mix of old and modern is beyond perfect .Our room was big, comfy, clean, full of amenities, and thoughtfully and artfully finished. The workers were all pleasant and helpful. Food was delicious and very plentiful and a bargain that was included in our room price. . We received delicious cheese filled warm Pita and dessert in the afternoon, a sit down dinner with freshly made soup, salad with fresh herbs, stew and dessert. Breakfast had a fresh delicious buffet and then we were served delicious cooked eggs and fresh pita with cheese This is a unique hotel for someone who loves the countryside and wants to stay in a castle. The atmosphere, architecture, upper lookout patios, garden trails, water hole and museum tour were extra bonuses . The newly planted gardens was wonderful and will be a delight to see when in bloom and in years to come.

We like everything but most importantly we LOVE how friendly, helpful and lovely the staff are.

Yunus was very friendly and accommodating. He gave us very useful information about the sites to visit and allowed us to extend our check out time.

The people that work here treat you like visiting family. They made our trip really special! Even though Ahmad teased me relentlessly 😅, he made sure we had everything we needed, even offering to get up early to make us breakfast before our flight. He showed me his pigeons when he found out I love birds. They helped us every step of the way and I wouldn't stay anywhere else, I will be back. This place is serene, perfect resting place as it’s my last stop in Turkey. It’s 5 mins by taxi/12 mins walking from the train station, close to most restaurants in town. The staffs are very attentive, the room was bigger than pictured (she even gave me a free upgrade), and everyone tried to help me with all I need during my short stay. Will recommend anyone to come to Selcuk for Ephesus to choose here!

Properrty is great , owner is so welcoming although we lost the key of the room. Special thanks for the owner and mustapha who helped us with their hospitality the food was great. Bring ur things from supermarket before you head to your place. Very nice view we will come again

This was our third visit to Istanbul, and without a doubt, this is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and kindness of the staff made us feel truly welcome — every single person was incredibly friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. Our room was very nice, cleaned every day, and the view took our breath away. The location couldn’t be better, with the metro just a short walk away, making it so easy to explore the city. Thank you, Doruk Palas Hotel, for making our holiday unforgettable. When we return to Istanbul — and we surely will — this will be the place we come back to. ❤️

Unique accommodation for a unique town. Very clean and well appointed. Nice sized room. Staff were lovely and looked after us so well. The manager was very helpful in giving directions for sights and providing special treats such as fresh fruit in the afternoon and a lovely little gift as we left. The pool was perfect for an afternoon dip and cool off and had shade as well. The hotel was well placed to watch the hot air balloons from the terrace. And the breakfast was perfect - my husband said he had the best omelette. Again the service was excellent.
